Soaked Rockwool cube in Distilled water Ph'd at 5.85 until the actual water from the rockwool cube read 5.85 after being squeezed out some ( I know your not supposed to do it but I've done it this way every time without any problems) I then place the seed pointy end up in the rockwool cube and then the cube into the humidity dome with the top vents 1/4th to 1/3rd closed on top of a heating mat. The hydroton is also soaked in a strainer which sits in a larger bowl until the water reads 5.85 and much of the dirt has settled to the bottom of the bowl, I repeat this until the water from the hydroton becomes more clear a the bottom making sure to wash away as much as possible. I use 2 controllers to control everything, Exhaust fan ( exhausts to a separate room ) 3 Manual fans, humidifier, Dehumidifier and a led light, I only use distilled water for the entire grow and use a Apera 3719 for water testing, Each bucket has a 6 inch cylinder air stone attached to a shared 1189 gph air pump, a pump inside to get rid of old nute water and is also attached to a tote outside the tent to replace it, all pumps are controlled using smart plugs and a app on my phone, this really comes in handy when they get to big to move around, Each bucket also has a sample port and a level indicator tube with zip ties every half gallon to know how much they have eaten/drank, its also used for feeding and ph adjustments if need be
Got a little water on her, didn't realize it until I saw the spots on her. Roots decided to pop through so no more top feeding, gave her a little bit of food, will increase to 1/4 mid week
So far so good, Increased nutes to 1/4th strength, so far not showing ph issues like other plant which leads me to believe my meter is okay, new growth coming in well
Thinking she's a little more hungry than I thought, increased cal mag to full strength and grow to half strength, she seems to have liked it, left bad leaves on to see and changes, after food increase. will cut them off soon. res change with half strength nutes done, looks likes she's growing up as well, I won't do any lst, I don't want to stress her out more with what ever deficiency she's showing
Increased call mag some and it has appeared to have worked, started 1/2 strength bloom nutes, gave a haircut, upgraded tent controller, with the help of 4 uis plugs, a dongle splitter, putting the fan that blows on the light in manual mode, and using one spot for the dehumidifier/humidifier because I don't run both at the same time I can now use 2 spots to fill the buckets and 2 spots to drain the buckets manually or on a Schedule etc giving me complete control using 1 controller and 1 app
Reduced the extra cal mag she was getting, she didn't like it as much as I thought lol, she's doing good though, bumped up flower nutes a smidgen and added terpinator into the fold id usually use Botanicare sweet but I bought the terpinator once because the price was so good and I'd been wanting to try it, removed some bigger fan leaves, will do a defoliation soon, eating and drinking as expected
As like her tent mate she's enjoying the current feed schedule so no change there other than the addition of Silica blast, she's a short little thing though but she's filling out well and show beautiful purple colors, leaf trichomes coming in very well and the buds look beautiful. As with the roommate I can no long add food from the top so the tote has been activated and called up from the farm league lol, did some trimming to help with air flow and humidity
She's doing great, the purple is really filling in and like her sister some of her pistils have a slight tint of orange starting on the tips, she smells a little funky like the other one so i bought a fillable 6 inch carbon filter for the exhaust fan, it didn't have one when I got
it so I figured for the price i might as well get 2 for one and save some money down the road on just buying the charcoal, turned down the wattage due to the other plant being too close to the light, I could have raised it and kept it at 100 but I didn't feel like moving the fan, sprayed down the tent with Insecticidal soap inside and out for good measure
She's about done, about 30% orange pistils, they are all shrivling in, no amber trichomes yet but they are milky and some are even pink or purple and shes very sticky, tried a sample of it and very mellow, I'm going to give her another week or two forgoing any issues, probably 2 weeks i want to see if she plumps up more so yeah 2 weeks lol, I'm going to starve her out before harvest so I don't have to waste water or nutes, excited to see what colors will show
This thing grew itself, it took off fast out the gate and never looked back, this was my first time growing a fast bud strain, I will definitely grow more fast buds in the future for sure, very impressed
I enjoyed this grow from start to finish, very easy to grow, tasty smell, very sticky and just beautiful to look at with her buds dripping with diamonds, found about 30% amber trichomes, was going to wait another week but she had more amber trichomes than i thought, excited to get her dry and curing,
