this should be fun! going to try to feed these 8 girls mainly with fresh compost and see how that goes in terms of the results. As you can tell, a couple do have an early start, and each plant will have its own patterns of growth.
Planning on lst as needed, not for height saving but simply to increase the surface area available for bud formation, which should consequently increase the yield.
pretty stoked to see how this run turns out, cheers
Flowering has begun, and lst has intensified. It’s been fun watching these 8 unique plants differentiate more and more as the development cycle evolves.
The first problem I have run into is the beginnings of what appears to be calcium and or magnesium deficiency, notably in the crystal candy and lemon haze. Let me know if you agree with this diagnosis and treatment.
I will be leaving these girls for a week, and relying on an auto-irrigation system to ration out a 5 gallon of water through that time. Let’s hope for the best 👊 cheers
my slight neglect of my plants over the last few weeks combined with the learning curve of compost application has left me with some noticeable leaf burn, along with what seems to be some types of lockout/deficiency. Nonetheless, these ladies have protected their flowers valiantly and leave me in awe of their beauty.
Opening the tent during the night cycle hit me with a strong blast of terpenes that smelled exactly like skunk, and as i observed each plant individually, the profiles became clear on a few of the plants that were further along. Namely, that spot on familiar smell hit my nose as I took pictures of the lemon haze’s buds.
The blue dream below her smelled lovely as well, as did the crystal candy, which is showcasing beautiful buds despite experiencing some of the worst burn of the batch.
Ran out of bio bloom so am supplementing a bit of my remaining fish mix in order to lush up these flowers, along with some snow storm ultra for an overall boost as the end of this run looms on the horizon. Nothing to do but close out the run as strong as possible. Cheers
Last week for the haze, and all these plants’ flowers are shaping up nicely.
I switched the fan placement on the floor of my tent to get better wind coverage, and otherwise just monitoring conditions and letting the ladies do their thing.
Sweet aromas of all kinds greet my nose when I visit the tent, giving me confidence. Cheers
Haze - Chopped and looking straight freezer burned with frost in the drying room, pics to come
Lime - really starting to frost over and bulk up, modest yield with great bud quality
Candy - Very strong sweet fruit aroma, swollen buds with a very crystalline structure, on the chopping block
Dream - Fantastical buds practically dripping with the good stuff, robust in growth, almost done
Banner - Ways to go until harvest, but looks as though it will put on a lot of weight and finish strong
Alaskan - Interesting bud structure, definitely bulking up as they develop, sugar blasted purple buds abound
Lights - Robust in development and impressive in stature, longer growth cycle but pays off in spades, buds are starting to hit that golden stage
Glue - Small but mighty, dense looking, frosty knuckles. Vigorous, jungle-like growth with remarkably consistent headstash bud structure, dripping with resin
Cheers 🌬️
Buds are some real eye candy. All of them save the banner and lights have entered late flower and are looking frosty and dense. I have chopped the candy, and this week I will most likely chop the blue dream. Feels nice as always to see the fruits of ones labor and learn a thing or two along the way. Cheers 🔥
respectable auto strain with a reasonable yield. tolerant of nutrients and not finicky for a sativa. I think this is a lemon haze but can’t say for certain. hang dry whole plant for a week, spot trim and then cure for 2-4 weeks, monitoring the RH in jars from 65% down to 55% for a solid cure.
grew well despite some kind of immobile nutrient deficiency in the growth cycle. yield is good. Responds very well to some LST. My experience with this strain suggests a longer curing time to temper the unique sweetness of this strain.
this plant liked lst and exhibited a robust growth pattern. In structure, appearance, yield, smell, flavor, potency, and overall versatility, it performs well in all categories. I feel that the larger the substrate volume, the larger this variety will have the potential to grow and prosper
Stout indica structure with limited success in lst. tall towers of frosty buds on each branch that faded beautifully in late flower. medium yield of top-shelf buds, overall very worth it. spot trim and jar loosely when branches fold but before they crack (~7 days) and cure from 65-55% RH over 2 weeks by re-exposing the buds to fresh air occasionally.
Limited success with LST, but still most likely helped to boost yield. Grew without problems indoors in soil. This pheno had good yield and bud quality, and didn’t stretch too much given it was a sativa-heavy genotype
LST succeeded in increasing my yield, and all buds on each branch finished with top shelf quality, consistent dense structure and strong potency. The terpene profile is complex, pungent, and lingering, making it memorable to me.
Tall stature, receptive to LST but seems to favor a main cola(s). Robust growth, expect a heavy yield. Over dried her a bit just like the last time I ran these genetics. Good quality auto freebie of a classic strain.
I can see this strain having a great yield and quality potential with consistent optimal conditions, but haven’t found it the most resistant to any nutrient and ph imbalance or fluctuations.
