10/10/23 - approaching day 4 of drying. nug sizes have halved in the way they look. hay smell still quite present.
stems still soft and moist. no snaps or clean breaks just yet.
humidity has been fluctuating between 55-65% and temperature between 15C at night and 24C in day time.
13/10/23 - day 6 of drying. i decided to cut more leaves off and give it a good trim.
stem still has moisture in, still has a slight bend, but feeling and looking more dry. temperatures varying between 18C night and 24C day. Humidity staying around 64-69% on average. Highest recorded has been 80% but it's been raining recently.
15/10/23 - both plants have dried sufficiently i think.
The hay smell is disappearing but the bud smell is also disappearing - may have kept it too hot while drying.
Nugs have been stored in jars to start curing.
1 plant will be for smoke, the other for butter. still haven't tried any of it, estimated date 22/10/23 π¨
UPDATE: I couldn't resist so I smoked a joint from little nugs off the end of the stem.
@Mr2toke, For sure man. at least you feel panicked over it, lol. I trip out when I see something amiss, so I definitely feel you, lol. Just gotta be dedicated and stay consistent
@beenSlayin, thanks bud! im still in panic stage as i dont want to lose this plant, too much work to throw away hahahaha! just gotta stay on top of the drying πͺπ½
