started a new grow and trying 2 new things: autopots and soil. plant was ok after 7 days but started to look sick in the coco, so it gets repotted into strawberry fields soil next week.
switched it into the autopots today, day 9. didn't realize that the coco was killing the plants. wasn't ready for the autopots. learning and growing my friends.
so two plants are shown. one of them was supposed to be a blueberry cupcake, but it was straight male and is out after next week. I got it from a third party vendor, it didn't come in official packaging, and i'm not sure if I trust it. the jelly donutz seeds came from humboldt directly.
jelly Donutz has now been in soil for a week, and it completely recovered from the shock of the coco. never growing coco again lol. all good now though. goes back into the autopots at the end of this week!
i'm skipping about 8 days here, but I have only grown autos up to now. These need much higher concentrations of nutrients. I was out of town for a bit and came back to very, very yellow leaves. i went from a ppm of 250 to 350, then 450, then 550, and now am up to 660. this seems to have stabilized them, and they are recovering some green. I'm sure it's due to my accidental underfeeding, but this lady has some incredibly gorgeous red leaves. just sick. also, the strongest smelling plant i've grown at this stage. also the most resinous. does literally have a cotton candy smell!
this is an extremely hungry plant. highest nutrient concentration of any of my grows. also seems to handle to high intensity light no problem. it's only about 10" above the plant. this is, without a doubt, the most beautiful plant i've grown or seen in person. it's also super smelly, like ridiculous. cheers to you humboldt!
she'll definitely be early. there are already a good bit of amber trichomes. down to 300 ppm nutrients on day 40, 130 ppm on day 42, and closing this out to harvest.
was extremely easy to trim, as it is mostly flower. the few leaves are mostly intense purple, so I may leave a lot of the sugar leaves in tact just for the memories lol. does smell very sweet. there's no harvest smell at all.
