Northern lights looking healthy. White widow leaves are curling down a bit. Maybe overwatering? Not watering daily but may have given too much water at 1 time?
Transplanted from solo cups to final home in 5 gal pots.(thanks to those who replied to my question)… Northern lights has been easy going, white widow being slightly more difficult but I’m learning as I go so could be my fault.
Started training the autos. The northern lights has been topped. The White widow will be LST. I’ve heard mixed results topping autos. So far I’m a fan. . Having a little trouble With lst and figuring where it’s safe to tie it off and how much I can bend stuff around without damaging the plant.
Both plants seem healthy. Still just tying down branches that grow higher than the rest of the canopy. I need some work with my LST techniques, not really getting the results I was hoping for there. Very happy with the topped plant.
Northern lights has started to flower. White widow is slightly behind. I think I went a little strong on the feeding and suffered some nute burn. Still trying to figure out how much/when to water with pure water vs nutrients. Did some defoliation on both to clean up the canopy. So far northern lights has handled anything I’ve done to it without issue. WW has been a little more temperamental.
Plants are happy and healthy. Watering every other day. Northern lights is budding nicely (I think, I’ve never made it this far) White widow is showing buds but probably a week behind. Have been doing lst and defoliating when I water. Did some pretty heavy lst today to get the shape a bit better for flower. I like the symmetry of the topped plant but I’m starting to figure out the lst a bit more.
Roughly 3 weeks of flower on the Northern lights. White widow is about a week behind. Not really doing much with the NL. Did some pretty heavy lst on the WW to even out canopy for flower. Both seem happy and healthy. Still watering every other day while giving nutes every other watering.
Both plants looking great. Northern lights buds are getting big! Light nute burn on the NL. White widow buds are developing nicely. Still a few weeks behind the NL though. Upgraded to an spider farmer sf1000 from the bloom plus. Using the bloom plus to start the next run of NL and WW.
9/22. Day 67 from seed. Northern lights buds are pretty big. Don’t seem to be packing on as much size now. Leaves seem to be fading a bit. Based on other diaries Of the seeds I’m using I have another 2 weeks til I harvest the NL. Just plain water for the Til harvest. White widow buds are starting to pack on some size. Much frostier than the NL!
Getting to the final weeks of my first complete grow. The Northern light should be ready to go in the next week or so. She’s rocking a beautiful fall fade. Waiting for a few more tricombs to turn amber before harvest. Buds are nice and solid, she had a nice earthy smell, doesn’t smell nearly as strong as I was thinking it would though. The white widow will need a few more weeks. She is just starting to fade. These buds are a bit smaller but much frostier. This plant did have some issues In veg so not sure if that is impacting yield. Both plants are getting regular PH water at this point forward.
