Taking in the nutes very well, explosive growth from the advanced nutrients range. Plants are loving it. Started low stress training. Good overnight growth!
Been another decent week. I have just popped 5 more strains ready to replace when these go into the flowering tent.
Done a defoliation ready to be out on 12-12. A strong earthy , pine smell from 1 and a strong lemony smell from the other. Same seeds👌
Certainly on the stretch, i untied all the lst clips, watched those beautiful colas glow! Will now re lst every leading branch every 2 days now until as much space is covered as possible
Another great week, although I am starting to be quite concerned about one of them but it could just be me being an inexperienced grower and worrying over nothing, one seemed droopy, but picked herself back up after 90 minutes of wake up(lights on)
I am on day 10 of switching to 12 hours,pistils are starting to emerge. Should I take this as day 1 of flower or continue with original timing and start to add extra nutrients as stated on the feed schedule?
Its all how you want to run your diary, when I switch my light cycle to 12/12 I classify that as entering flower.
I also keep giving it the same feed as i did in veg with maybe some extra P and K as its going to be stretching a lot in the next little while.
After the stretch is completed I tend to move over to my flowering feed, but moving forward that's not going to be to much different then my Veg feed as the plants requirements don't change to much.
I know of others who will call day 1 flower when they start to see more pistils emerge and stretch starts to begin.
There is no right or wrong answer its all for your own logs as long as you remember when you flipped the photoperiod to 12/12 is all that counts.
When asking questions about it just let people know when you flipped them as that's a moment of change in its life they can used as a reference point.
This topic reminds me of when you you start Germination week and when is week 1 of growth. I like the nuances of it all but in the end it does not really matter. Its the Harvest entry that's king :D

Unexpected heatwave in my area causing temps of around 32.8c. Had to hang co2 bags as a precaution. It’s handling it ok but can see the leafs are reacting to the heat. Hopefully this won’t affect them too much.
Little bit early on this week but as I’m travelling to Amsterdam today I’d like to get it updated today. Heatwave has finally gone, temps dialled in perfectly now. Hopefully with the temps dropped they will start to go purple for that bag appeal!

Had a brilliant time in Amsterdam, smoked some amazing weed and met some incredible people!
The girls were left alone unattended and unwatered for 3 days. They had a good douse before I left and came back to some BEAUTIFUL looking nugs. Just purchased some flawless finish ready to flush these beauty’s in 7 days time 💪
Buds looking good and swollen nicely, finally mixed a reservoir of flawless finish at a ratio of 2ml/l
I will use this for the next 7 days, then continue without for another 7 days. Hopefully these babies will be ready then 💪
Update 28th September: heavy defoliation removed all fan leaves and some of the lower branches that were too small or hidden out of the way
Update 29th September: seems to have taken the defoliation really good and I can immediately tell after defoliating the fan leaves the bud production has certainly been boosted. I’m now starting to think I may have been 3-7 days late on the flush. All in all everything looks great!
Little early on this week again but thought I’d bump one last week on before harvest, managed to get some top quality photos of the girls instead of underneath the hps, really excited now for harvest! Didn’t realise how much I was missing looking T them under the HPS. I hope everyone has enjoyed my diary. Really happy with the out come for my 2nd ever full grow :)

I feel like the overall cycle length of this is a lot longer than stated. They have been growing for nearly 15 weeks. I believe they could have done with an extra week but we needed the space to add other clones that were ready.
