Had a learning experience this week. I started measuring runoff EC, I had no idea I was supposed to keep track of this figure. The runoff EC was 3000+ so I began flushing twice daily. The runoff EC is getting lower and under control. However, I think I need a few more days of flushing with CaMg ph 6.2 agua. Plants are still growing well and starting to smell really nice. Also, I switched nutrients to the General Hydroponics Flora series. I am following this feed chart with the nutes that I actually own. https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/mixnutes/ I can't wait!!
@Rwein93, thanks for the offer. I think issue early was I reused the coco from another grow that had WAY to much nutrients locked into it. I was measuring runoff (never knew I had to do this) and it was like 2000 EC above input EC. I have since corrected the EC issue and things seem better. I might have also been too aggressive with defoliation and training. When do you typically start the training process?
Good to see somebody keeping Old School Genetics Alive. Sick of all the mediocre Cake & Runtz Garbage cuts floating around.
We need a Kush ,Chem, and Cookies resurgence. Preservation of Pre-Recreational Cultivars is Key.
Stealing the wood chips idea. Keep up the good work dude.
@@CarlosKeith54, thanks for the feedback bud! The wood chips have definitely helped capture moisture in the coco versus turning into humidity. The cedar smell is also nice! I hope it works well for you!
