Lowrydr's outdoor photoperiods

lowrydr Week 7 of veg. Transplanted into 20L air pots. 80/30 Biobizz soil and perlite. Direct sun 10 hours, 16 hour days.

lowrydr Week 14 preflowers, transition fertilizer from veg to flower. LST and defoliated to open up bud sites.

lowrydr Got quite hot and humid and I've been sick so less attention than normal. Looking great though.

lowrydr Week 5 of flower. I got covid and was down for 2 weeks during a heatwave, plants got nute burned. One plant got decimated, the other 3 seem fine. Flushed them, waited a week, now resuming feed at about 50%.

lowrydr Week 6. I lost the nute burned one, just wouldn't recover. Other 3 are doing great, starting to fatten up nicely. I'm feeding at 50% recommended levels (Advanced Nutrients).

lowrydr Week 7. Trichomes show the 2 afghanis are ready. I flushed one and will havest tomorrow. The other I'll let go a week longer. A bit of an experiment. And then there is my unknown Plant X, still clear trichomes and green af. I'd say at least 1-2 weeks to go.

lowrydr Week 8. Afghanis are ready. Plant X still has a week or two still. I'll harvest SAD#2 today along with a few branches of SAD #1 for taste tests between flush/unflushed. Then flush #1 and let grow a week for another test (more amber/mature). Plant X harvest in a couple weeks.

lowrydr Week 8/9. Harvested 1 plant last week and let the other go another week for an A/B test. Plants got nute burned in mid flower due to 2 weeks of covid and lack of attention so some dead/burned leaves in the flowers. No worries, it's for personal use so it is what it is. It's fun and I learned a lot too.

lowrydr Week 10 for my unknown Plant X. Still lots of clear and no amber. It's been a strong grower compared to my others. Still solid green and I've been starving it of N for two weeks. Going to flush soon and harvest before the colder and rainy weather hits.

lowrydr Harvest time for Plant X (unknown strain). Week 11 of flower, still not at my target amber but need to chop due to rainy/cool weather. For fun, I threw all the stress techniques at it - split main stem, ice flush, 72 hours dark. I yelled at it a lot and told her that was a worthless slut whore. Anyways, still had sone bud rot on a couple buds, surgically removed it, the rest is fine. Don't tell me to throw it all away, I've been doing this for years and never had a problem. Drying it out in a spare room trying to keep humidity down with a space heater. It's either cold and humid or warm and not humid so lesser of 2 evils. All in all, this unknown strain outperformed my purchased seeds. Grew fast and easy and withstood my over fertilizing and heatwave better than the others.
