8/6 - scuffed and dropped seed in water
8/7 - the seed is cracking open already
8/8 - put the seed in soil in a solo cup
8/10 - she's emerging from the soil
8/20 - gave her a bit of a drink with some nutrients. No sign of roots coming out of the bottom of the cup yet.
8/26 - potted her up into a 2 gallon container and watered her in with a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/3 - fed and watered her, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/5 - topped above the 4th node and lowered the lights to reign in the stretching
9/8 - trained her up a bit, used armature wire to stretch the branches out and gave the top a little twist to offset the branches
9/9 - fed and watered her, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/10 - looking like she's about ready to start flowering, I think she'll be ready around Halloween
9/13 - super lightweight, fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/17 - she's getting stretchy and I haven't needed to defoliate her yet
9/18 - I removed the training wires, trimmed off some of the large leaves that weren't looking so good, and fed and watered her with a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/20 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients
9/24 - not impressed this time around. The plant is leggy and not much for leaves. Fed and watered her, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutrients.
9/26 - starting the flush, probably has about a month to go. I'll probably push her longer than last time. Gave her a half gallon of water with HYCLEAN.
10/01 - flushed her again, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN, and removed some of the yellowing leaves
10/04 - flushed, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN.
10/05 - Flipped to 12/12 light cycle. Moved to the flower tent to make room in the veg tent. Will finish out the next few weeks like this.
10/08 - trichome check with a jewelers loupe and mostly cloudy with some clear, definitely got at least a few weeks to go until she's ready
10/09 - flushed her again, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN
10/14 - flushed, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with HYCLEAN
She really didn't produce much for leaves this time around. And the leaves didn't have any more than three fingers. She's all bud. I really was not impressed with the plant as compared to the last time. I really wanted to wait two more weeks to harvest her, but another plant got a spot of bud rot. This one looks fine, but I don't want to take any chances. Chopped and drying.
She's an easy plant to raise. Give her light, food, and water, and she'll do the rest. The training this time around may not have made much difference.
Mine are looking pretty close to the same on Day 19 after planting. Just potted up to the 5 gallon cloth pots. I'll put a post up tomorrow with pics. Started feeding them Fox Farm nutrients. Got my White Widow seeds for free from Seedsman. Photoperiod seeds.
Mine aren't growing as tall. More bushy it seems, but same fat leaf phenotype, especially compared to my Purple Ghost Candy. Perhaps the auto compared to the photo seeds. You are even keeping your lights closer than mine (though I see you had yours at 30". Maybe I should lower my lights too). Looks good!
I'm thinking about topping this next week.
@MinnesotaMarijuana, I've grown these before and they were bushier. Could be this one just wants to stretch. But autos do grow faster. I think it was just 10 weeks from seed to harvest last time.
