Hey! Thanks for stopping by I'm a long time lurker and second time grower. The first one didn't go so well, got a bunch of pesty thrips that absolutely ruined my previous plant :( Decided to document my second attempt at this wonderful hobby, fingers crossed all goes well! Any advice is welcomed!

There has been a crazy heatwave in my country and unfortunately I don't have an AC, so me and my babies are suffering with it :( They have a constant breeze over them and I'm keeping their soil nice and moist but the coco coir is drying off really quickly even when I'm watering them 2 to 3 times a day. Also been misting them with water to try and keep the humidity up. Gave them a very minute amount of Alg-a-mic as i've read that kelp extract helps combat heat stress in plants, used 1 ml of Alg-a-mic in a liter of tap water and then fed them about 200 mls each on 08/07. They don't seem terribly bothered by the heat which is reassuring. Any recommendations on how to deal with this terrible heat is appreciated! (An AC is sadly out of my budget)

Baby N2 suffering badly from the heat, taco leaves on both plants, but N2 showing it more. She's growing some funky fatass leaves , hopefully they'll look cool when they're big. Because she's so stuby her little first leaves we're touching the ground, i tried to dig her a little trench, but it all falls in when i water her. N1 doing a bit better, but stunted from the heat to hell, apart from some small leave tacoing, she looking healthy. Also started very light feed on N1. White powder on them and on the tent floor is Diatomaceous earth, saw some little ants prawling around and don't need an ant swarm rn. Hoping this horrible heat gets better soon ,but hey at least it isnt hitting 40s like before... Hopeful these little babies grow into monsters. Thanks, bye

Hello everyone! Baby 1 is officially in flower woooh! Unfortunately the veg didn't go as good as I'd want, but we live and learn, hopefully she streches out a little bit more and doesn't end up an absolute dwarf. But hey, a little homegrown ganja is better than no homegrown ganja ;) Baby 2 is still struggling a little bit, but she's bouncing back and i *think* her growth rate is getting faster and faster. couldn't see any pistils in her (thank god) so I'm still hopeful she'll at least match her twin when she starts flowering. Temps have dropped considerably these past couple days, so hopefully heat stress won't be much of a factor anymore. Another feeding this week, slightly stronger, but don't really wanna go much higher than the concentrations I'm using as they have what, to me, appears to be mild nut burn in the lower leaves. Maybe the soil is already a bit hot? Who knows. Found one god damned white fly in my little baby 2 :( Got a mighty satisfying smack and that was that, couldn't see any more of them nor any eggs, even though I'm not 100% sure there are none as apparently they're hard to see and find. Damn fly fed off of 2 leaves on the Baby 1, which caused some mildew to develop, these have been trimmed and disposed off and *hopefully* I won't have a full on white fly infestation or fungus problems. Thanks for checking in, see ya !

Sup peps, everything going alright, no signs of any pests thankfully. Baby 1 growing really nicely, was afraid she'd be dwarfed, but she seems to be proving me wrong. Baby 2, welp, we'll see. I can't tell if shes flowering or not, because the calyxes are so damn tiny, i *think* maybe there a pistil coming out of it, but I'm really not sure if I'm just being paranoid lol. Again, hopefully she matches her big sis. Slightly upped baby 1 nutes, she seems to be taking it well. 30/08 updated : Got springtails, don't know how to react or if I even should. Some people in forums say they're benefitial, others say they're harmful, and some others say they're neutral. Posted a question in the grow question section. Also turned on the supplemental 60 W light to get these babies BIIIG. Getting a bit stanky as well, oh gorgeous smell it is, can't wait to be overpowered whenever I open up the tent. Not much interesting this week, that's about it. Thank Y'all for reading my diary and have a good one <3

When i watered my ladies today, I noticed a ton of little white "worms" in the run off. After some research I'm pretty confident they're Springtails, as in closer inspection they had anthenas and jumped around like crazy. Are these benefitial or should i try and erradicate them?

springtaila decompose organic matter in the soil. they are a sign of good soil and they are very useful in a compost pile. If the population is concerning to you, then you can control them with some nematodes or soaps. I don't think they cause a massive issue in soil based grows. I'd leave em, they stay in the medium and will die out when it gets to dry. They feed on sugars as well so if your feeding any of that it is bloom their population. Good Luck!

Pretty sure the weeks are wrong, I think this should be week 5, but i don't wanna clutter it too much. Baby 1 is growing like crazy! since she showed pistils she must've quadrupled her size, to the point where i decided to give her a touch of LST to keep her away from the lights. Hopefully that breaks the apical dominance and gives me plently of smaller colas filled with marijuana. She's also getting incredibily stinky, she's stinking up the room she's in (granted i don't have a carbon filter) but damn, I thought a strain with Northen Lights as a parent wouldn't stink too much, but she's the smelliest plant i've had. It's hard to describe, but she's leaning towards the lavander/herby side of smell profile, absolutely love it so far. She keeps throwing out more and more pistils, I'm hoping she stops streching soon and starts full on flower. Really glad my anxieties of her staying small were proven absolutely wrong. Baby 2 is still doing her thing, nice and slow. She still has no signs of flower, not sure if I got a genetic freak that doesn't have the Auto genes in it, or if it's because of how stunted she was for a while, but time will tell. If she isn't an auto, I plan on waiting till baby 1 is done, then flipping her to 12/12 to hopefully get a monster sized plant. Been giving heavier nutes to them, they seem to be handling it well, but probably not increasing it further as i don't want to give em nute burn. Temps have been ideal, always betwen 20 C and 30 C. So far, so good. I'd appreciate any tips on how to LST properly, as I have no idea what I'm doing lol, and I've seen some really clean examples of LST and mine ain't it. Thank you for checking in! Have a great weekend <3

Heyyy, Baby 1 is doing fantastic, she streched like crazy, and is now flowering really well. I'm actually trying to do proper LST on baby 2. She's an auto! just a bit slow, but she finally started showing pistils. 09/17 Baby 1 flowering really well, been leaf tucking, and removed a dozen of leaves that we're blocking other heads. Baby 2 i *think* has a pretty ok LST, she isnt the most even, but close enough. She's now on the same feed as her older sis. Has been throwing out more n more pistils. 09/18 I fucked up. I dropped my fan on baby 2, snapped the second nicest branch off :/ it was still hanging on by a thread, It was where it connected to the main stem, i coulnd't figure out a way to bandage it, so i made an improvised wire crutch to keep it tight to the main stem so it hopefully heals back... I don't know if it's worth trying to save it, or if im better off binning this branch and focusing on the rest. Cheers! Till next time :)

I dropped my fan on a very nice branch and it pretty much got ripped off of the main steam. it was being held by a small little portion of thin plant material. Is it worth it trying to save the branch considering its an auto in pre flower, or am I better off cutting it off? Cheer

hold it together andn wrap some tape around it. in a 2-3 days come back and take the tape off. the vascular tissue will fuse back together fairly well. the stem where it broke will be even stronger at that point than before. you may see some droopage the first day... you'll know quickly if it isn't healing.

Hello everyone, Not a hella of a lot of interesting things happeing right now. The buds on baby 1 are getting fatter and slowly maturing. Baby 2's wound seems to be healing alright, the branch looks nice and perky, even though it isnt fully fused back to the main stem. Baby 2 also stopped streching and is now crowning to begin flowering :) I'm expecting a better harvest with baby 2, as she's better trained than her counter part. Apart from that all remains the same, same nutes, same watering, no pests. Hopefully within a couple of weeks ill be able to harvest these beautiful babies. Thank you for stopping by and until next time!
