I'm lowering the watering a bit because RH raises easily to 75% if left unchecked and my dehumidifier struggles to work for long periods without raising the temp to >33c.
I also decided to supplement the water feed a little with potassium as the only source I have in dry amendments is Guano and I don't want to burn my plants but I want the nugs to fill in nicely. I'm using Madame Grow Bazooka Bloom which is fully organic, and went with a low dose for now. I may increase it if I see the buds don't fill as nicely as I would like. The goal of this grow was to test the supersoil without feeding anything more than water, but I will prioritize healthy plants and a decent harvest over rigorous testing 👽
End of week update: I topdressed the pots and gave extra nitrogen to the plant in the back left.
Topdressing:
- blood & bone meal (only for the back left plant) 2 scoops
- kelp meal 1 scoop
- biochar 2 scoops
- humic acid 1 scoop
- diatomaceous earth 2 scoops
I've also ramped up potassium in the watering, currently at 3mL/L.
How would you rate the quality of these plants? The dark brown leaves have me self conscious of the roots situation. DIY supersoil mix recipe here: https://pastebin.com/pbxMZysq I've added more dolomite & guano as topdressing and fed liquid calmag and potassium during flowering.
It's all about personal preference. I think their a good 8 out of 10.
The dried sugar leaves means you let them go longer and they kind of self dried on the vine as I say. I do this as well.
The swell colors and hairs look beautiful. I would be absolutely happy with this quality of flower.
Congrats you did wonderful.
As others said make sure you have no pest or mold. If you don't then enjoy the harvest!
Please consider selecting me as the answer so I can be entered for a chance to win grower of the month contest 🙏 please and thank you 😊
Amiga creo que la sequía perjudicó tus plantas
Yo no lo hago. Prefiero que los cogollos crezcan y engorden sin límite
Si aún así quieres hacerlo, hazlo solo en la última semana, unos días antes de la cosecha. No antes
@Mrs_Larimar, It is my understanding that a little draught stress can increase resin production as it is a defensive mechanism against drought. At least I was experimenting with it. I wouldn't call the result the most resinous bud I've had access to however it is the best quality I've grown myself. Just a little over 100g for 3 plants inside of a 2x2.
