Germinated in paper towel until taproot showed, then started in Burpee Self-Watering Seed Starting Tray from Home Depot. Following cocoforcannabis frequent fertigation nutrient schedule for this grow.
Following the "coco for cannabis" nutrient schedule for high frequency fertigation. Using 3% H2O2 at 25ml instead of 30% at 2.5ml. The extra water in the mixture does not significantly impact EC or pH from what I can tell.
Continuing to train her down and out. Did some light defoliation of inward pointing leaves to give her some more breathing room. Moved to week 3 nutrient mixture and stopped using H2O2. I am now hand watering instead of using the AC Infinity Self-Watering stands.
8/16/2023 - Removed the pipe cleaners holding her down last night to give her a rest. Weird twisting on newer growth makes me think she is getting a little stressed out. I will be increasing fertigation frequency as my runoff EC has been 1.8-2.0 when input is <1.3.
8/18/2023 - Light defoliation today to expose some of the newer growths. Only removed larger leaves pointing inward towards the stem of the plant. Did some slight bending of the branches downward to try to keep the canopy spreading horizontally.
8/18/2023 (Afternoon) - Set up automated fertigation using CocoForCannabis's "DIY Automatic Watering System for Indoor Cannabis" guide. Automated drainage is on the way, and I will be gravity draining all the way to the basement for collection. For the moment only one plant is hooked up to a hydro ring, but once the current mixed run is finished and I get a uniform crop going I will have 4 sites running.
