RQS Amnesia Haze

Day 8, 8/23/23 These are still pretty small. I'll probably keep them in the dome another couple of days. Temp - 81° RH - 79% Day 11, 8/26/23 Still in the dome... tiny and slow root growth. My opinion of RQS is dropping daily Day 12, 8/27/13 They are still not showing any roots out of the rockwool yet. That rockwoll must be packed full of roots to not be showing on either one of them. And disregard the one runtz seedling in the corner. It isn't a journal grow for it. Day 13, 8/28/23 ...and the disappointment grows... Day 14, 8/28/23 FINALLY! Some progress!! I was starting to get worried. I really want these in dwc but my last grow is taking longer than expected, by 2 and 3ish weeks. 3 of the first grow plants are still going. I am gonna try my hand at a coco/soil mix. We'll see!

Day 15, 8/30/23 I got tired of them being in the humidity dome, and the DWC tanks aren't empty yet so I put a few drops of Calmag and Micro, and put them in a cup and sealed it up. They both have tiny roots starting to come out of the rockwool so I'm hopeful they'll grow enough with what's in the rockwool to get to the water right under them. I'll check the rockwool in the morning to make sure it isn't dry. Day 16, 8/31/23 I finally got them in something other than a Dixie cup. I have them in 50% soil, 25% vermiculite, and 25% perlite with a brick of coco mixed in. I planted them pretty deep so the stem isn't sticking up far above the soil. Day 17, 9/1/23 They both haven't grown, but I know they are alive because their heads moved more towards the light. Hopefully we'll see some growth soon! Day 18, 9/2/23 They are starting to get bigger. The soil seems to be kicking in finally! Day 19, 9/3/23 Today they seem to be bigger, so the soil is working. I had my doubts lol. Die hard DWC guy here. The heads have moved some again, but I've not noticed much growth. Guess it's either the soil is slow or the genetics were bad. One seed didn't pop, so maybe the latter. Day 20, 9/4/23 They are starting to grow a little more. The soil was pretty dry, so I added 1 cup of water to each of them. The leaves on Plant 1 are starting to turn brown at the tip, and I have no idea why so if you know, please please drop a comment for me! Day 21, 9/5/23 Today I just watered them with a solution of mostly water and 300 ppm nute mix. They are starting to grow. Hopefully they'll pick back up and do well. I also put an all organic pest control shell powder on the soil.

Day 22, 9/6/23 They are finally starting to grow some. It's noticeable. Theres hope yet! Day 23, 9/7/23 They have gotten larger. If they grow much I the next few days, they'll be caught up! So far the DWC is beating soil so far :) Day 24, 9/8/23 I discovered an oddity on RQS 2. It only grew one leaf on the next node. I haven't even attempted to LSTing them, and I haven't physically touched them since transplant. Wonderful genetics... Day 25, 9/9/23 Yet again, I've been let down. Not only did 1 out of 3 not germinate, it seems both have the exact same deformity. Their second node only has one stem. I almost just ripped them up and started popping 2 new ones. These are gonna be such a waste of time to bother growing. Wasted time, nutes, and money. Thanks RQS for the quality seeds. Day 26, 9/10/23 Well, Plant 1 has one huge leaf for node 2. It looks like it has elephantitis. If anything else goes wrong I'm pitching them and starting with a non Royal Queen Seeds strain. Day 27, 9/11/23 Well other than being deformed, they are alive and, well, semi healthy. They live another day. Day 28, 9/12/23 Well, they survived another week, so good for them. Maybe they'll survive my wraith for being shitty seeds.

Day 29, 9/13/23 Well, one leaf on plant 1 is getting bigger, so progress, if you call one leaf growing progress... Day 30, 9/14/23 They look bigger today. That's a plus. One of VERY few of those with these wonderful RQS seeds 😒😒... Don't waste your money on these guys. Get them from a good company! Day 31, 9/15/23 Well, surprise surprise, another issue photo. RQS 1 has no growth around the "node" with one branch. Even RQS 2 has growth there. 1 will be taken out tomorrow and thrown away. I'm gonna do 2 the same because if I've had all these problems in 31 days, I will have more possibly catastrophic issues. I will take the pictures tomorrow and then end the grow. Thanks for those who kept tabs on this. Let this be a learning experience for us all... Day 32, 9/16/23 Today I pulled them. I don't need my weed to come out messed up because of genetics and waste more money than I have already. I was really looking forward to these too. Sorry everyone.

Sigh.... Had high hopes...
