Week 7 of Vegetative Growth with Pruning Growth: Week 7 in the vegetative stage has been a pivotal point in the journey of my cannabis plants. In addition to the SCROG netting, I've recently pruned the lower leaves, and this adjustment has yielded positive results. The canopy is incredibly even, and the plants have redirected their energy towards upper growth. The main colas are thriving and reaching for the light, promising excellent bud development. Nutrients: My Plagron Sugar Royal nutrient regimen at 1ml per liter continues to provide the essential nutrients for robust growth. There are no signs of nutrient-related issues, and the leaves are maintaining their healthy appearance. Lighting: The 18/6 light schedule, combined with my reliable LED grow light, remains effective. The plants are responding well to the light, and the SCROG net ensures that every bud site is exposed to optimal illumination. Pruning: The decision to prune the lower leaves has further enhanced the evenness of the canopy. By removing these less productive leaves, the plants have been able to focus their energy on upper growth, leading to more potential for bud development. Environmental Conditions: Temperature and humidity levels are still well within the ideal range for cannabis cultivation. The consistent temperature of around 75°F (24°C) and humidity at roughly 50% are maintaining a comfortable environment for the plants. Conclusion: As we conclude Week 7 of the vegetative stage with pruning and SCROG netting in place, the results have been remarkable. The canopy is thriving, and the plants are reaching for the light, ready to transition to the flowering stage.
