jbirdstheword Holy moses. Last scrog session before she gets covered up for flower. My favourite stage in the game.

jbirdstheword Started light deprivation. Takes about 5 days to initiate flower. Will probably just be starting flower next week.

jbirdstheword First big defol this week during the stretch. Trying to get rid of all Larfy buds. The reason is solely because I don’t want to trim 2lbs lol. Wait another 2 weeks then heavy defol again. Another experiment that seems to be working.

jbirdstheword Holy Moses. She didn’t really stretch much last year but this year is almost doubled. I wasn’t able to tame her further so she had to go up. So I just sawed off all foliage and trying maximize yield on the larger colas.
Old school growers I’ve talked to say don’t defol. Every person who works in the industry says to heavy defol. I settled in the middle.

jbirdstheword I think she stalled a bit between flower initiation and now. But finally a starting to flower proper. I don’t know if she will finish on time as winter hits here around mid October. Going to be a close one.

jbirdstheword Finally she is full blast flowering. I think the cold nights have really triggered her. I began using a lacto based supplement to increase uptake from the roots. I should imagine that if it stays sunny over the next week I can expect these colas to double. Just need winter to frig off 2.5-3 more weeks. It will be down to the wire!
Ps my whole neighbourhood reeks like Kush because of this thing and it’s awesome lol.

jbirdstheword I had to wrap it up a few days ago because it got down to -8 Celsius overnight. But she lives! I’m unable to provide info or more pictures as I’m injured at the moment. Hopefully better pics for next week. But she might only have 10 days or so left.
@jbirdstheword, I’m concluding it’s all down to strong sunlight during flowering. Both timing and intensity and especially at Saskatoon or Edmonton sort of latitude. We run out of strong enough sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. Trying for mid-Sept finish at latest. Cheers for next season. Congrats on the hash..
@Northern_Ent, I harvested and got about 1/4lb of preem smoke and the rest went to hash. I’m sure it’s over a couple lbs total. Turned out okay but from an over cloned mother. Ill be doin this again!
