Well fuck it will do it live! 4 top gun auto feminized, straight to dirt into an Amazon seed kit with heat Matt + 25 watt LED light for 50 bucks. Will need to upgrade my tent and light around week 3-4. Will likely use future harvest again (micro, grow, bloom) with the hope to add some royal gold and super b+ to this grow. I don't see the need to spend money on bud boosters while only getting 2 weeks out of the formula with an autoflower. my goal for this grow is to bang out another 70g+ yeild per plant in limited space, with slight improvements, and no growing techniques other then adding a trellis and decreasing pot size to 1 gallon so the roots fill out better and I'm not wasting water or nutes. Also adding lemon balm, and a cloned marigold to mix some more smells into the tent while still being non toxic for the kitty at home
#1 and #2 are doing fantastic. Gave them a full shot of nutes which I will update the journal/diary from my desktop.
#3 is runty and temptation to cull or give away is strong. I gave it a 1/4 shot of nutes with the root stim to try and "juice" it a bit. But from the slight burn on the tips I may have just shot myself in the foot.
#4 spent 7 days in dirt, 5 days in rockwhool, then 2 days in wet paper towel. Upon cracking the casing, it was empty.
I had a good week with a bag of "blue dream" and now have a couple seeds for the collection.
I will be looking to transplant the lemon balm and the marigolds to there own fabric pots. They seem to work better then plastic.
Nutes are future harvest: micro, grow, bloom, super b, and royal gold. Using the autoflower pdf guide from the website will update my journal when I can.
I am open to opinions/suggestions on when to top, #1 will be showing 6 nodes here in a day or two, with #2 following closely behind
#3 won't have much done to it depending how it recovers this week, or it may be culled.
Any ways thanks for looking and reading, enjoy the weekend everyone!
Yodes
Used future harvest, micro, grow, bloom, super b, and royal gold with autoflower week 2 #'s. pre treated water with root farm ph down and aquarium dechlorinater. The runt is small and showing 6+ nodes will think about topping over the next 6 days. Plants 1 and 2 were both topped Monday, and defoilated 5-10 mins before posting this as of thursday. Other 3 plants are: 2 marigolds, and 1 lemon balm
Thanks for taking a look!
Couple of pest and humidity problems end of last week and this week. Used dish soap, and some lady bugs, seperated the flowers and cranked the exhaust fan for a couple days. Things are clearing up nicely. Not sure what's up with the plant in the front #3 but has great leaf formation and is quite bushy, no signs of sex yet. Plants 1 and 2 are doing very well. Will swap to flowering nutes in a day or two, starting to show defencencies, but confident they will be fine. Thanks for the read!
Calcium defencencies in both taller ones, crushed and blended a calcium stone up + full shot of nutes today. Hopefully greens up. This strain does yellow when finishing. I "think" I'm on day 57 or 58 as of posting this from first seed With the others being 1 week and 2-3 weeks behind from being stunted. Glad I kept the runt, it should have the a full tent to itself for about a month. My last tent grow finished about day 87. These plants are ugly finishers.
Calcium defencencies in all plants still. calmag is on order with some bud booms for the future. Really embarrassed with the leaves so I'll take some damage and recovery photos next week. The buds themselves look normal, plant #3 is hiding in the back is now in full flower. I rotate them around now every 3-4 days. Thanks for the read
*Edit* I would describe the smell as camphene from the smell blog posted: "Camphene is another terpene that produces a camphor-like aroma but it also contains notes of earth, musk, or pine". Definitely musky 😆
Good week, trimmed some leaves added some Cal mag to all plants and 4ml of bud boom split between the two in later flowering stages. Will trim up some of the rough leaves on the slower one in a couple days. Short one stretched out nicely this week, it has 0 training just defoilation. Edit* also included ph down with my water flushes inbetween nutes. Plants look amazing
Everything looks awesome, is awesome, very happy with how things are finishing. Plant #3 is now budding, I gave it a small trim and clipped 2 lower branches completely off. I ordered a dehumidifier and controller, but the controller was broken, and the dehumidifier wouldn't turn on inside the tent. It's about 55% outside, 47% inside a couple inches below the canopy, and 65% down at root/floor level. I am running a 3inch floor fan, and a 6 inch fan on the roof, directed down towards the plants. I may pick up a couple extra hygrometers just to be sure. Any ways best of luck to everyone else's grows.
Took it easy with the water and nutes this week on all 3 plants. #1 will likely get one more dosing in the next day or two, then flushed for a week or so. It was defoilated a couple days ago, she is pretty well done. #2 will get another 2-3 doses before beginning to flush it is a week behind #1, it will also get trimmed up soon. #3 has turned from runt(thought about culling it) to absolutely beautiful leaf formation and perfect height. Just tied off a couple branches and spread them out a couple inch. Lots of bud sites and quality/crystal formation seems to be consistent with the other 2 plants. Was worried about, how dark the buds and leaves were getting, but my temps have been very low, and I have just added an air purifier and dehumidifier to the lung "area". I have not trimmed off all my leaves from the cal/mag defienciecies from the other week, I feel it adds some personality between the 3 sisters. Anyways thanks for the read. Best of luck to everyone's grows!
Harvested the first one on Monday
Harvested 2nd Thursday
Both are boxed up and tucked away
First plant has a citrus smell to it
Second plant has a fruity smell
Plant #3 now has all the room and all the light to finish up, looking great, will hit it with some boom this week
Sorry for the crappy photos, will continue to update the journal with plant 3 in flowering.
Finishing strong with lots of room and light after harvesting the other 2. Will probably give it 1-2 more dosings of nutes before flushing. Plants 1 and 2 are now in curing, after box drying for 8 and 10 days in the garage. Will do my best to bring my non cannabis plants back after a month of neglect. Feeding schedule is on future harvests website, as I have not been updating it correctly on here.
Do not follow my feeding regime and/or schedule as I have been inconsistent updating it. You can download it as a pdf or view it in browser at future harvest under autoflowers. They also have feeding schedules for hydroponics and photoperiods if you are interested. My first grow was just micro grow and bloom, and turned out quite well. The extra nutes seem to make a difference, and added calnesium when it called for probably would have helped a lot more.
