First time grower, not yet smoker

Worrying a bit, as the initial leaves died fast :/ Think it's because the tent got too hot at first, and the tap water was ph 7.7. Now I things things will go better 🤞

Progress is slow, leafs are clearly damaged. This plant is not thriving, but I'm trying my best -_-; There are many variables, non of which I have full control on yet. Light ☀️ I bought a cheap LED from aliexpress, it said 300w, but I have no way to test that, or measure the amount of light. Water 💦 I water when the soil feels dry when I stick my finger in the dirt. I've started correcting the pH towards 6.5, but I didn't the first watering, and my tap water is 7.7. Soon I intend to start giving nutrients in the water. Temperature 🔥 Sadly I had to learn the hard way that my tiny tent quickly gets HOT! Even with the door open and a fan on, it still gets too hot during the day (29.4 celcius)

The plant is still alive :D Started adding Advanced Nutrients Bloom to the water. Started with LST. She started smelling, so I had to install the outtake fan and carbon filter.

I've kept using LST, which led to me breaking of a leaf and a branch! D: I wanted to stop with LST then, in fear of ruining more. Yet I continued, more carefully, and it's been good so far. Oh, and there are suddenly pistils!

She isn't huge, but I'm very happy to have managed so much! I'm less prepaired for what to come, I think. I'll have to research when to flush and harvest, and how to dry. My biggest worry is if somehow this plant creates such heavy flowers suddenly that the plant can't hold the weight and breaks. 🤪

🍓Day 50🍌 Oh boy! Suddenly a lot of yellow leaves on the bottom of the plant. After some research I conclude that it is nitrogen deficiency. So added a little more of that, and removed the worst leaves. Now there are a lot of leaves with yellow or even burned tips! Which seems to mean nutrient burn 🤦‍♀️ I'm doing my best here 🤣

🍓Day 57🍌 Welp. Still struggling with yellowing leaves. Don't want to overwater her, so I figure I just have to leave her alone for a while. 🍓Day 60🍌 She got much worse! 🍓Day 62🍌 After asking for advice, I've changed the light schedule from 24 hours on to 18/6, so she gets rest. I flushed her with just pH 6.4 water. Testing the runoff water, it's pH was a tad low: 6.19. Ppm was within range. I will now try to leave her to recover on her own if she can. 🙏 I also speculate that it could be fungus gnats, so adding diatomaceous earth on the top layer of the soil.

🍓Day 71🍌 Last week, maybe? I'm very unsure. I have ordered a jeweler's loupe so I can inspect the trichomes, which to my eyes look just translucent/white. I'm just watering with pH adjusted tap water. 🍓Day 72🍌 With my fancy new loupe I can see amber colors in some of the trichomes :D I will just give her water, as her final day is coming >: ) 🍓Day 73🍌 Turned off the growlight 🍓Day 77🍌 Chopped her down and hanged for dry. 😱 Trying to keep humidity at around 60% by hanging a wet towel in the growtent

🍓Day 78🍌 Second day of drying, and humidity is still on point (59%). My understanding is it takes at least five days to dry, so let's wait. 🍓 Post drying notes🍌 I dried for 10 days, which might have been longer than needed. After drying and trimming, I had 16.6g of flower and 3.4g of sugar leaves, which became cannabutter. Woah, that cannabutter was too much for two peoe to consume in one sitting, my first high took two days of my life xD Hope to do better next time!
