BlackSail *10/1/2018 UPDATE* Wellll, we killed a seed. We've started over, and this time we let the taproots get a little longer in the paper towel (~1"-1.5"). Then we started the girls off in 1 gallon fabric pots, so it should be a lot easier to regulate the soil moisture while they're all small and weak. We'll transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots in about 14 days. "Why do we get back up son? So we can fall down again." -Batman's Dad What's up growdiaries? This is Keith from Black Sail. This is our first experience with autoflowers and we can't wait to smoke this Sour Orange Diesel Kush from Mephisto Genetics. Many thanks to our First Mate Grace O'Malley for handling this grow. As always we're growing in 100% organic living soil. Some of our friends said to use 5 gallons, some said 7, so we went with 6😀 These are the amendments for our supersoil and our compost teas: Neem Seed Meal Kelp Meal EarthWorm Castings Crustacean Meal Insect Frass Glacial Rock Dust Epsom Salt Unsulphured Molasses The plan is to give her a compost tea (or some Lactobacillus serum) and an SST (corn or barley) once a week, starting at two weeks. She should be a beast! For our light we have The Cannon from BlackSailMarket.com. It's 240 watts at full power, we've got it turned down to 150 watts for right now and it's hanging at 16".
