Day 1: Used cotton pads again and all three seeds cracked
Day 3: Planted in final containers (5-gallon fabric pots)
Day 7: Watered with small amount of Big Foot gold mixed in
Super Soil Recipe: Ocean farm (and Happy Frog at the top), charcoal, pumice, worm castings, neem meal, and kelp meal.
Day 7: Added 2 oz water to each w/ tiny bit of Big Foot Gold mixed in
Day 8: New growth
Day 9: Watered
Day 10: Light burn, raised and dimmed (slightly)
Started consistently PH'ing the water
Day 15: Stretchy growth, starting some LST
Day 19: dry amendment and myco tea AND full watering
Day 20: Lightened LST
Day 21: Low Stress Training
For #1, pushing down fan leaves and holding one fan leaf to the side with a garden tie
For #2, pulling top down with garden tie to reveal undergrowth
For #3, pushing down fan leaves to reveal undergrowth
Day 22: Recharge and deep watering
Day 23: LST and looks like two ladies are starting to flower
Day 25: more LST and very light defoliation
Skywalker #1 and #2 are stretching and giving off light fruity smell after gentle defoliation
Day 27/28: All three are starting flower
Skywalker #1 and #3 are slightly behind #2 in terms of bud formation
Day 26/27: Amended topsoil with one tablespoon of Gaia Green power bloom each, Watered #2 with amendments
Day 27: Watered in amendments for #1 and #3
Day 30: Added recharge to 8oz of water for each
Starting to do extremely light lollipopping only for leaves blocking budsites or budsites that will not get enough light
Day 35: #2 is starting to smell of limonene. #1 and #3 are like 3-5 days behind #2 in terms of flowering. #3 is very slow and the runt of the bunch.
Hoping for 3-5 more weeks of flowering before I cut them down. Will likely cut #2 a few days before the others.
Day 42
| #1 is developing well | #2 is doing best | #3 is a runt |
Lots of trichomes on #1 and #2
Lots of catching up to do for #3
Harvest expected by Halloween
Day 56: all three are bulking up into the final weeks of flower
Still looking to harvest on or around Halloween, but it may be staggered for each plant starting with #2, which is furthest along.
Day 63: no much to say - just waiting to chop them at 5-10% amber trichomes
Dry tent is set up a 70F and 60% humidity.
Pay-tience will pay on my first harvest.
Day 65: trichomes are very cloudy on all three phenotypes
Phenotype #1 had a natural fade that I used to dictate the harvest day, which was day 67 when ~77% cloudy trichomes and ~10% amber & ~13% clear.
Phenotype #2 was the largest in appearance and did not fade much. I decided to withhold water as a final LST before chopping on day 70 upon the first appearance of 5% amber trichomes. I anticipate this one to have the best citrus smell of the three, but only a smoke test can confirm this after curing.
Phenotype #3 was the runt of the three and dried up fast. I withheld water along with #2 as a final LST. Both had an increase in sugarleaf trichomes on days 67-69. Decent trichomes despite the tiny size.
Phenotype #1 harvested on day 67
-Best fade of the three phenotypes
-8% of trichomes are turning amber
-Smells like a gassy orange citrus ipa
-Dried for TBD days
-Cured for TBD days
Phenotype #2 harvested on day 70
-Largest in appearance/growth
-Purplest stems from LST stress
-5% of trichomes are turning amber
-Smells like a citrusy orange ipa with some gas
-Dried for TBD
-Cured for TBD
Phenotype #3 harvested on day 70
-Smallest in appearance/growth
-Least use of LST due to size
-3% of trichomes are turning amber
-Smells like a little citrusy and gassy
-Dried for TBD
-Cured for TBD
