3rd grow and feeling good about the lessons learned so far, so this grow will hopefully be the best yet. Had some trouble germinating seeds, so for this one I soaked them for 8 hours and then just planted them in moist soil (final pot) and covered with a cup to keep moisture. Kept them out of the direct light and since the NYD was still going, the light was diagonal. They popped in 2 days and look very healthy so far. Treated the soil with the Mountain Organics Botanical Tinctures (Neem Tonic, Citrus Tonic, and Sprout Tonic) and am misting twice daily with plain water. Starting to every other day mist Sprout Tonic for nutes and IPM. After the NYD harvest, I put the light back to overhead mode and turned off the red lights on the LED - testing to see how they grow under just the blue light during the first few weeks.

Week two and these babies are looking strong. No signs or Thrips or Fungus Gnats, so that's a great sign! Grow baby grow!

Everything was going really well in the first 4 weeks, no bugs and they were growing like crazy. Then I went away for a week and they got overwatered. I came back to droopy plants and what looked like N Toxicity (NYD) and Phosphorous Deficiency (Blue Cheese). I think the roots have been soaked too much and some issues are popping up, but it's interesting how each plant reacted differently. I'm letting them dry out and will flush after that, maybe even add some light P nutes... Growing weed is hard!

After a tough week the NYD is bouncing back, the Cheese is another story. I let them dry out for about a week, then flushed NYD because it looked like N toxicity. I fed Cheese some water and light P nutes (Bone Meal) in addition to light Fertilizer (True Tone Organic Tomato). NYD is perking up and most leaves look good 2 days later. Blue Cheese is still struggling and not making buds, still very droopy. NYD nug production is going well, better than/on par with the last round, so at the very least I'll have another NYD harvest. My next round will be Kush and White widow, just to use up my Autoflower seeds. I also think I know what to do next time, light nutes right before they flower. I'm also going to start some Photo-period seeds (free Peyote Critical from Barney's) and try my hand at Photos for the first time- I'm thinking I may have better luck there. Always many lessons in each grow

It's been a big couple weeks and both plants have bounced back well. NYD is our champ and she came back strong after the flush. She's now fatter than my last round of NYD, so I'm stoked on that. Blue Cheese took longer because I wanted to see how NYD would respond to the flush first, so she's a week behind. I also started using some liquid nutes for the first time and I went with BioCanna because I want try and be mostly Organic if possible. I took care of the pests but there always seem to be deficiencies when they flower, so just supersoil and water haven't been working for me. They both have responded well, NYD still has "the claw" from too much N, but that was happening before, but any leaf yellowing or browning seems to have slowed/stopped..

She took a really long time, but was my best harvest yet! A combo of almost dying in the middle of her life with cold temps really drew out the grow, but I'm very happy with the end result. I also found the right nutes to use which is HUGE for me!
