After a brief hiatus, the DWC buckets are getting ready to bubble in the auto flower tent again. This time around we'll be featuring Jungle Lava Auto, a reputed 'wake and baker' kindly provided by @originalsensible.
Soaked the seed overnight and then transferred it to a dampened paper towel placed inside ziplock bag. Baggy was placed on germination mat set at 75F inside darkened tent. Seed cracked and nice little tail appeared within 48 hours. Seed was transferred to a pete pellet and set to sprout in the germination tray. Sprouted the next day. Once the roots grow through the pete pellet she'll get planted in a net pot and moved to her 5-gallon bucket.

The Jungle Lava is growing very well and hasn't skipped a beat since being moved to her bucket.
I'm feeding her a light dose of Remo nutes out of the gate until she gets settled.

The Jungle Lava is doing well. Roots have broken through the net pot and she's taken off.
I made one PH adjustment during the week as she was running high at about 6.6 and she's remained pretty steady, between 6.0 - 6.2 since. I'll likely freshen her rez in the next day or two as well as giving her a FIM.

The Jungle Lava Auto is thriving. She's responded really well to the FIM her and light defoliation I gave her earlier in the week and she's bounced back with a beautiful round shape since.
No big diet changes. I changed her rez earlier in the week and she's had a couple of top-ups since. She's been hungry and thirsty; drinking about 1.5 litres/day at this point.
So far so good.😎

The Jungle Lava auto has exploded in the past week and is already in flower after only about 3 weeks vegging. I don’t think I’ve grown an auto quite this enthusiastic. She’s well into her stretch, already standing at 19” tall.
She responded really well to
the FIM and has a fantastic round shape. I’ll clean her up after the stretch finishes in a few weeks.
Rez change today with a cocktail featuring Remo nutes. She’s pretty hungry, drinking almost 2.5 litres/day.
I’m enjoying see this baby grow.

The Jungle Lava Auto continues to climb, growing another 13” since last week.
She was really starting to crowd the Cherry Alien Auto sharing the tent with her so I cut out a lot of undergrowth - a couple of weeks earlier than planned. I also did some supercropping to help manage her height.
Changed her rez a couple of days ago. I’ve noticed some light spotting on the leaves near the top of the canopy and am thinking it could be a deficiency as PH has been in range. I’ve been giving her a little extra magnifical and astroflower with her tops, so we’ll see if things turn around 🤞

The Jungle Lava Auto continues to growing very well.
I think she's about done stretching now and has reached 42". Buds are now starting to swell and the frost is setting in. She has an intriguing sour smell when you rub against her.
She now has the tent to herself as I moved out the Cherry Alien that was growing next to her as things were starting to get crowded.
I recalibrated my equipment earlier in the week and found my EC pen was reading about 150 ppm low. As her leaves were displaying signs of some sort of deficiency and/or lockout, I gave her a 24 hour flush with plain water and flora kleen, and gave her fresh nutes and water following the flush. Hopefully, all is right now 🤞

The Jungle Lava is looking good.
I think the earlier deficiency I was worried about earlier has been alleviated 🤞A fellow grower thought I was perhaps overdoing it with the AstroFlower and it was locking out Magnifical. I've adjusted my feed and things are looking much better.
I did some significant clean-up at the start of the week and got rid of a lot of the undergrowth. There is much better airflow throughout the plant.
Buds are continuing to swell and get more frosty. I'm hit in the face with sweet dankness when I open the tent.

The Jungle Lava is entering the home stretch and is getting fat, frosty, and stinky; cake and diesel. Yum 😋
Some of the fan leaves are just starting to fade, so I'm thinking a couple of more weeks.

We're in the home stretch with the Jungle Lava auto.
Buds are fat and stacked. She's a stinky girl.
She's not drinking and feeding as much and I've just stared to cut back her feed a bit. EC has been around .8 currently as PH has been running between 5.7 - 6.1.
Trichs are starting to get milky. I'm thinking harvest in the next week or two - I like to see some amber.

The Jungle Lava got the chop this week, 88 days after dropping the seed.
She grew enthusiastically out of the gate and developed some nice heavy and sticky colas. She’s super fragrant; sweet and skunky.
She ended up with a nice thick stem and I had to break out the big Fiskars to cut her down. She’ll hang to dry for the next 7-10 days. Look like it should be a fairly decent harvest.
Smoke report and dry bud weight to come.
