Hello everyone, I have been quite busy lately so my update won't be as detailed as the others. Plants have grown quite a bit in the third week, the largest and oldest one reached around 24cm and I have the feeling she will start flowering soon. I will now start doing low stress training and introducing new nutrients from the Zamnesia x BioNova Monster Bud Boost Pack that contain more Potassium and Phosphorous. I'm late on this update so currently the plants are looking even bigger, im sure the week 4 update will be exciting! Thanks for reading and happy growing!
Goodmorning, i am sorry i cannot answer my private chats at the moment (got some intruders in my telephone line)
but Yes on all the questions!!its the end of veg and the start of feeding flower nutes!!👍
@TheGreatGlobeDismantler, No i do not give them much water in that stage, i let them search for the water(good for making strong roots)
but i do not let the soil dry out ofcourse (keep it moist)
sometimes they flower early bc of stress(maybe the temp was too low for her then)..
kweetni wrom😳, but she turned out ok though(sometimes they stay very small, when they flower early.. but luckily she didnt!)
I will be watching your grow too👍happy growings
@Hologram, Dankjewel! I have been watching your grow, im surprised how quickly your Blueberry went into flower. Did she get a lot of water during week 1 and 2 of Veg?
looking great but i would not start defoliating just yet. 🙏
only when they get in the way of the (big)buds and there are no buds yet.
(or when they are bad) thats usually around week 8 or 9 (some times 7 )
Autos need all he power they get in the short time they grow
@Hologram, thanks i will keep it in mind. my reason for defoliating now is because my tent is too cramped (3 plants is clearly too much), but i will take care to be conservative about it
your berries are growing great!!😎
👍yes u can defoilate and top!! but u have to know when and wich one u can take away (the big ones but only one at a time)
wait till at least week 8 to defoiliate, (i only do that when the leaves get in the way of the buds)
just take away a few but not all in once..
topping slows the growth and autoflowers need all the time they have..
but nowadays al lot of growers are doing it bc autoflowers are stronger than in the past..
(i have done it too, got great results but it took a little longer before harvest..)
but i dont think you get more yield with that.. they just compensate your lost
but i am not sure
I just let them grow and remove the lower branches just before flower, remove a leave now and then and keep then as stress free as possible
I love how they grow like a christmastree😍
but it is all up to u ofcourse..
PS the wierd leaf curl is from your fan! maybe it is hitting her a bit too hard atm👊
@TheGreatGlobeDismantler, perfect plan, it think blueberries life is too short to be topped.
But miracles do happen very often in growing Cannabis.. and experimentation is part of growing, (and is fun) just see what works for you🙏
thats a great observation btw👍, they do not like/need fan exp. when they are very young and growing their first leaves..
@Hologram, thanks for all the advice i appreciate it! I will change my fan direction and see what happens. Do you think younger plants are more sensitive to the fan? Because the leaf curl is only on the youngest and i think all 3 of the plants have gotten similar fan exposure.
Also I will take your advice and not top these girls, I will see how LST and defoliation later works (like you said) and maybe next grow I will top one just to experiment and we can compare!
