Hello beautiful people! Finally Growdiaries are back <3 Thank you RQS for this gift seed <3 Germination: 07.09 Paper towel 08.09 Planted in soil 09.09 Seedling P.S. My first seed of a Feminized lady took 6 days to germinate in soil. This is my second one and it took only 2 days. I don't really know if it's the paper towel method or because she's an autoflower. Also her stem looks thicker 😻

We made it to Veg Week 2 😸 It's birdie's day 15, she's still so small. Just watered her with 200ml + first bio-grow dose (half prescribed). Last watering was 5 days ago with 300ml, no nutrients. I'm a bit worried that her nodes are too close, but she looks happy and "praying" so I don't really want to dim the light. All advice much appreciated, thanks! Day 19 Water 300ml + 1/2 biogrow dose Day 20 LST Day 21 Compared to her bushy friend she has just the right internodal space for light to reach all the new growth

Day 22 I like her posture, she's more symmetric, her internodes are easy to work with Thank you Crashoverite for sharing knowledge and experience and pointing out how I could improve my grow! 🙌 So good Day 23 White hairs already?! Following advice started properly watering and feeding- 1L Water + 0,5ml Biogrow + Calmag 0,3ml, ~pH 6,5 Day 24 was contemplating removing lst altogether but good fella Crashoverite recommended to keep it on the main stem. Day 25 no photo Day 26 I think she looks healthy. I'm concerned about her height and try to lst less. Though she has much better internodes than her bushy neighbor. Raised the light to 75cm from plants: DLI 25 ~15k LUX. Rolled the edges of the pots to help the bottom leaves. Day 27 Removed a couple of small leaves from the first node that were facing the ground. Gave about 1000ml water + biogrow/calmag. Day 28 Flatten her canopy a bit more with lst

Day 29 I removed one leaf from Orion and about six fat fan leaves from Silver Shining. Both look groomed. Spread the stems with more lst. Fighting rising humidity. Day 30 More lst to even her out. I should probably scrog. Dat 31 Water 500ml + 0.25 ml/L Calmag (no nutrients because the tips of the new leaves on main stem are turning yellow). From what I was able to find in Questions people are saying it can be Nitrogen overfeeding which has smth to do with Calmag intake. Though I was giving 1/4 of prescribed dosage. Trying DLI 40 - 25k LUX (bad idea) Day 32 The light settings go back to 29DLI ~18k LUX because the tips of top new leaves start to turn yellow. She's 17cm tall, she outgrew her older stepsister. She has quiet a few flowers forming, I'm trying to keep them even letting the light and air pass to the lower ones. More LST. Day 33 RQS Orion F1 data sheet claims harvest 65 - 70 days after germination. Flowering: 35 - 40 days. I'm halfway through. I need advice on how to proceed 😽 Day 34 DIY Scrog concept test Day 35 She looks kinda sad today. Maybe she hasn't woken up yet, or not happy with two hours shorter light cycle :) I hope she's just thirsty. Just watered them both with 550ml water + 0,5ml/L Calmag + 0,5ml/L Bio-Grow+ 0,3ml/L Bio-Bloom + 0,25ml/L Top-Max ~pH 6,5. Hope this will cheer her up. In times like this I'm contemplating so much lst and wonder how would she look if I just had let her grow. Should do a comparison next time. Cut off two leaves that were really close to the soil.

Week 6 Day 36 I guess now we're flowering. Scroged her a bit more. And minus two more leaves. The plant looks a bit better than yesterday, Day 37 I guess I could say 12 out of 15 scrog squares filled with flowers. Tucked some fan leaves that were covering the light under scrog. Dropped the lamp to 60cm. *Light cycle in the tent 14/10 to make her roommate start producing calyxes and pistils. Installed second fan for better airflow. Day 38 Watered with 550ml water + 0,5ml/L Calmag + 0,5ml/L Bio-Grow+ 0,3ml/L Bio-Bloom + 0,3ml/L Top-Max ~pH 6,5 Note: give more next time. Day 39 She looks better today after yesterday's watering. Tomorrow I'm gonna give her more water until runoff. Light in the tent was gradually switched to 12/12 over this week. Crazy flowers! Day 40 Finally watered her properly ~1250ml until runoff. Nutrients (% from recommended): Calmag 0.5ml/L (100%), Biogrow 1ml/L (50%), Biobloom 1ml/L (25%), Topmax 0.5ml/L (25%) Day 41 I stopped messing with the tallest flowers, instead trying to push lower flowers up. Looks like 14 out of 15 squares are filled. Light power +10W ~70W. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong here 🙌 Day 42 I guess she's doing alright 👽

Week 7 (2nd week flowering) (October 21-28) Day 43 Scrog squares 15/15 filled, trying to reach with main cola to the 16th free square. Flowers growing, frosting a bit😻 Day 44 I had to remove 3 three-finger and 3 five-finger leaves from this plant to help with light penetration and airflow. She will probably hate me for this. But it's getting tight there. Water ~1600ml Day 45 She loved her water. It looks like she's not really growing vertically anymore if I dare to use this word in my case. She's 22cm tall, and it seems she's rather growing her buds now. But some of those flowers stuck under the scrog are still tiny even though I tried to let the light reach each one 😸 Day 46 I guess she's busy growing her buds. Should I clear under scrog? Day 47 Nothing new. Tucked some leaves, cleaned up a bit so that the light could penetrate. Day 48 OMG Just look at those buds and trichomes 😻 Removed two smallest and lowest bud sites plus maybe a leaf. Watered ~1500ml with feed. I think she's busy growing buds 🙌 Day 49 Removed a tiny bit more of unnecessary in my "experienced" opinion growth from below. Saw a couple of moist spots on the leaves, but I think we're doing fine💪 I love her bonsai esthetics. I mean I wanted a smaller plant because I don't have much space but this is ridiculous compared to others 😹

Hi, It's my first grow and I need advice again. I have a small Orion F1 auto, she's flowering for 24 days (47 days old). I have these buds under scrog that don't get enough light and don't seem to grow fast enough. Do I remove them? Will it help or stun my plant at this stage? TY

Week 8 (October 28 - November 3) Day 50 Welp, I suppose she has about 3 weeks left... Unfortunately the smaller buds (those below or at the scrog level) stay low and small and don't grow. Everything above seems to be slowly enlarging. 😽 Light dimmer ~70%, my power meter shows that the light takes ~80W, 50cm from the tops. If someone could tell me if I'm on track or missing something I would greatly appreciate that 🙌 thanks! Day 51 No vertical growth spotted. Buds grow really slow. It feels like everything stopped. Is that OK? 😿 Day 52 She's sticky and smells great! Frosty trichomes everywhere 😻 They both look happy. I slowly cleared the lower third. I should water them tomorrow. Day 53 ~1750ml For some reason the leaves dropped sad after watering 😿 I hope I haven't messed something up. Day 54 Nah, all good 👻 Day 55 Cut a few fan leaves that were covering buds. Sometimes I wonder what would it look like without my lst and scrog. Also I can't imagine buds being even bigger if I kept it under 18h light 🙀 Day 56 Some more fan leaves removed. Turned up the light to 100W. Whenever I accidentally touch a bud she squirts fruity citrusy terpenes yum 😺 Should water tomorrow or the day after.

Week 9 (November 4-10) Day 57 Watered ~1750ml. Data sheet suggests we have two weeks left but I haven't noticed any milky trichomes yet. I removed two smallest branches with tiny flowers that were really underdeveloped in hopes she will spend this energy somewhere else.😭 Day 58 I wish I could bring all the buds to the same height but mistakes were made and some of them will never properly grow. The ones at the top look great. I think the plants look as healthy and happy as they could be in a 40x40 tent 😎 Day 59 Removed a few more leaves and one more tiny hidden branch. 💀 Buds keep growing. Day 60 Can't really see much happening. Day 61 Watering ~1800ml. Removed a few more leaves and one more tiny flower. Checked trichomes under the microscope. It seems they just begin turning milky with most of them still being transparent. Slightly increased nutrients. I'm trying to figure out where to dry her when time comes 🙀 Day 62 They both look good, so far no deficiencies spotted 😻 No hassle today, nothing gets cut. I'm looking for a social club for anonymous growers with plants under 30cm, where we could share our problems and look for understanding. Size doesn't matter, guys! 👺😽 Day 63 Lower buds pistils are still all white... so far no signs of amber heads. Flowers seem to be growing. Removed some more fan leaves and tried to slightly reposition a couple of branches that were getting too close to each other.

Week 10 (November 11-17) Day 64 In theory this could be our last week, that's what all data sheets are saying, usually day 70 is harvest. I don't know, to me it looks like she can stay still like that for another couple of weeks ;) Pistils are browning, but mostly on the top buds... trichomes I can't really tell if they turned milky, but I definitely don't see any amber. Fan leaves aren't getting their nutrients sucked out of them and look pretty healthy and green. 😸 Day 65 Same thing. Sometimes I'm not sure I like her pungent smell 👽 Day 66 Watered the ladies. She got 50% of nutrient prescribed dosage. They were both thirsty. It seemed to me she smelled really unpleasant before watering, almost like manure. After watering fruity scents were back. Maybe I'm just high but maybe this also explains my yesterday's comment about her smell... Day 67 I'm bored Day 68 Hairs getting more brown. I think I notice one bottom fan leaf started fading to yellow. But I haven't seen one amber trichome yet 😎 Day 69 So her roommate is having a buildup of fertilizers and she has probably too. I never watered until proper runoff and my soil is now oversaturated. Day 70 Last day according to RQS. I saw some amber trichomes under the microscope, I had to cut a tiny piece of the bud. As much as I want to finish this trial run already, my dear friend @Crashoverite recommends me to give it another week.

There was 500ml runoff with EC 3.3 🙀🙀🙀 Day 72 Can we last one more week? 😸 She's probably really sick but still manages to produce. So far no autumn leaves noticed. Day 73 😴💤 Day 74 no amber, lil bottom yellowing Day 75 no amber, slowly yellowing Day 76 Not yet dry enough. Day 77 It's been 6 days since last watering. There's more yellowing, I hope it's not because of deficiencies and toxicities but because of her age. Gave her 3000ml plain pH 6.3 water. Runoff 300ml PPM 2430 EC 4.86 which is 4 times higher that what she supposed to be getting. I don't know how she's still alive.

WEEK 12 (November 25 - December 1) Day 78 And we're going into the fourth month. I started giving her plain water both trying to fix the toxicity and getting closer to harvest. Probably a week or two to go. Two hopes: she survives the salt buildup and I could finish by ny 😺 Day 79 Beautiful yellow and green gradients. No amber trichomes noticed. Day 80 Frosty weather brought some dry air to help. Day 81 💤 Day 82 The most yellow leaf is dying, still no amber trichomes on buds. I will probably give her 3500ml pHed water tomorrow with FlashClean and see what's up with her EC 6 days after 1st plain water. Day 83 Flushed her with 4000ml ph 6.3 water with FlashClean 2ml/L. Had 4 stages of runoff. 400ml, 300ml, 300ml, 100ml - EC dropped from 5.8(!) to 3.9 and I hope it kept falling. Might be ready to harvest in 2-10 days 🙀 Day 84 Beautiful colours

Week 13 Day 85 So it's been 10 days since I gave her first plain water and 2 days since I used FlashClean, which claims the plant should be ready for harvest in two days instead of ten. Should I chop? 😺 Day 86 Thanks to comments by great people I realised that those new things growing on my buds were not increasing my yield and were actually nanners. I tried removing them, but there were quiet a few, not sure if I got them all. She was basically showing me that she can't take this anymore and tried to polinate herself and her friend 😹 So I had to remove scrog and chop her down to china town like a real ninja. I guess I have to create a harvest post now. See you there! 😘

Her soil runoff EC was really high 5.8 🙀. 10 days ago I gave her just plain water and 2 days ago I used TA FlashClean, which claims "ready for harvest in two days instead of ten". Do you think I should chop? Sorry for bad images, I can't see any amber tricoms, only my cat's hair

Stick a fork in her, shes done. I think it is time for harvest, Flushing is a bit of a myth, plants don't store excess nutrients in the buds that you smoke, flushing to correct a catastrophic issue like a EC runoff of 5.8 is the correct course of action. Congrats on doing that. Flushing while thinking it will strip the plant of nutrients and not the medium is the bro science method and hold no basis. I think you will be very happy with that buds once its cured and ready. Some plants do not get as ambery as other when ripening, its a good trait. Keep seed or clones from this one. I also agree with the looks like their is a nanner in the first pick. spray a pair of tweezers with water and pluck it out. Good Luck!

I think this strain handled herself perfectly considering that it was my first grow and I still don't know what I'm doing. She survived my poor gardening skills and a fertilizer buildup with her soil runoff being EC 5.8 at some point. Also I had to switch to 12/12 because of another plant in the tent, so she had shorter days for the second half of her flowering. She was really easy to defoliate and trim since she wasn't bushy at all. She was really forgiving. I couldn't see any amber trichomes, but most were milky and I couldn't wait any longer because nanners started popping up on buds. Let's see how she dries, cures and tastes. I hope I can update this later. BTW Thank you RQS for such a great chance to grow her because they sent me this seed for free as a promo campaign when I was buying something else. I still have a second seed which I'm definitely gonna grow.

3 month or 12 weeks and a couple of days. What a journey, I never expected to dive so deep and learn so much. Thank you beautiful people for your time, thoughts and support, special thanks to @Crashoverite for "growership" and spending so much time answering my crazy questions 😸 How I ended up growing a photoperiod and an autoflower in the same tent? I was high enough to drop my thermometer/hydrometer on my SSH when she was just a 2 days old seedling almost snapping her stem. So I planted another seed because I thought she's not gonna survive. This was Orion. And SSH is still flowering in the tent. I never ran my light higher than 100w which was about 75% on the dimmer and even that seemed to stress them. I think it has a lot to do with the compact size of my tent of just 40cm. TS1000 probably can handle bigger spaces but that was more than enough for me. So far my power meter shows 100Kwh for three months which is roughly 35EUR. What do you guys think of my drying space? 😹 That's the best I could come up with considering I can't dry anywhere else and I still have to keep SSH flowering. Temps swing 18-24 day/night, I try to keep rH 50-60%. There are two pc fan blowing the air upwards, kinda sucking it out from the drying zone. I added black paper on the sides to help stop the light getting down there. It's less than 500lux there and the light is 12/12 anyway. I hope this works. There were 184gr of wet buds with stems for hanging. Two biggest colas were 20 and 25gr. In the end there were ~35g of dry buds and 5g of trim. The more it cures the better it gets. Can't really describe the smell and taste, quiet unique.

@KingSalomonsWeed, thank you! My plants are 25cm tall, so far no resin on my lamp 😹 You know I think the size of the tent also matters, my walls probably reflect more light because they are closer, so I guess I need less power to get high PPFD. Why do you recommend watering in the evening? I though it should be done as they wake up, no? 😳

Mach weiter so. Es ist gut.

Best of luck! I received a freebie seed of Orion F1 from RQS. The harvested bud is my favorite of the 6 strains I've grown so far (newbie here) but I had so many issues with my grow. The leaves curled up like tacos almost from the start. I was giving it the same nutes as my other 3 plants I grew with it, and they were all fine. I ended up with a whopping 12 grams of dried flower but OMG, it's the best 12 grams I've smoked in years. I want to master growing this plant but will wait for the seed price to come down on them first. The sheer amount of trichomes that covered this plant were increditble. It was white & frosty, I just wish it gave me more than 12 grams. I ended up harvesting mine on day 43 of flower (day 73 of life), it was ready.

@Shelly420, 😻 have a great smoke, growmie, so good to hear! One day maybe we'll be able to share a simultaneous orion high together😹 Your comment made me more excited about orion's future if she survives my gardening 😹 You did mention everything correctly, I was just double-checking, I think our timelines are quiet similar! How close was your light? You should definitely create a diary, you're already sharing valuable info :D I would love to see your images and read commentary! Thanks for cheering up and letting me know I'm doing not so bad 😽

@einamio,For nutes I did Cal-Mag & the 3 Fox Farm nutrients (Grow Big, Buds & Blooms and Big Bloom (all dosed according to manufactures recommendation). For soil I used 1/2 Fox Farm Ocean Forest & 1/2 Fox Farm Happy Frog. I also put in some perlite for extra drainage. I really wouldn't follow my lead on this one though, I only got 12 dried grams in the end. Just enough to show me how awesome this plant can be. I'm anxious to see how yours goes & hopefully I can learn something because I really want to grow this one again. I'm smoking it right now, I wish I could share :) Soooo good! One of these days I might post the grow. I tried to figure out how to do it but I couldn't get the pictures to upload. I'll try again when I have more time. I took daily pictures, kept a journal, etc.

@einamio,hey bro, you definitely need water these girls more. 8l pots. I would say both needs 1-1.2l every 2-3 days. Definitely water in stages until runoff. Not sure why the leaves dropped on orion but underwatering could be the reason here. ✌️💚

@Crashoverite, thanks to your support) She looks a bit down though, I don't understand if it's the light or that I'm giving her ~550ml every 3rd/4th day, that's when the top 1.5cm feel dry, but there's no runoff. I should probably go back to 1000ml. They looked great after watering with 1000ml but humidity was off the charts 🙀

@einamio, thanks a lot she was at 9th week, don’t love late harvest to mold risk and to give spaces to other photoperiodic girls. I grow fast the autos and then finish the photoperiodic at 12h. For this the 12h at the end is not the best for autoflowering but if the bud filling is finished and have only to mature is possible to do this job

@Breadandbuds, thank you, Sir! 🙀 How old was your beautiful Orion when you harvested her? Do you use 12h in flower with autos for faster yield? 🙏 Thank you for commenting!

Where did you find this small table? It seems to fit your tent perfectly 👌
einamio
einamiocommenteda year ago
@Cats_n_weed, 😹lol thanks, I was looking for something to raise the pots so they won't sit in runoff, it also helps ventilation a bit, the pots don't cover the intake hole of the tent. I think I found smth like a drying rack/spice shelf/kitchen organizer in a local store real cheap😎 just fits perfectly 40cm tent and two 8L pots🙏

@einamio, 🤭 ella definitivamente lo ha hecho muy bien, tal vez un exceso de minerales como dices pero se ve genial, un buen lavado de raíces y todo saldrá perfectamente 🎩💐

God damn those buds look thicc 😩😩😩 What a marvelous adventure for a first grow, you got a real knack for this stuff and a green thumb to boot. Stick to it, I know you'll be a plant whisperer in no time! I hope the smoke will be all you wanted and more, you certainly deserve it after all this hard work. Best of luck with curing and the other harvest!!

@Kenough, thank you bro! It's just a nice photo and also the biggest buds are upfront on display, so you almost don't see the rest of small ugly and fluffy ones))) I feel like it's gonna be around 30g dry in the end if I can handle my humidity) when are you going to get Wobbles a suitable tent? :D Best of luck to you too! Gonna report as soon as I vape it if it delivered on your promises 😸 Cheers!

Warte noch etwas. Es wird sich lohnen. Natürlich könntest du auch in 2 Tagen hacken. Ist eine Frage des Geschmacks wie der Turn dich mitnimmt.
