Germinating 1x Purple Haze Auto + 1 x FastBuds Jack Herer Auto since the other purple haze is lagging behind and I want to expand the grow to 4 x instead of 2 x Set to Germinate 17/09, both germinated 19/09. Purple Haze is in the Eazy plug for the seedling to mature a bit, and then JH goes next once the root shows.

Pheno #2 is struggling, this third one looks great so far. The seedling sprout for Jack Herer has popped above the soil but just waiting for it to lose the seed skin, the husk I pulled off very carefully to not stress the seedling out. Pheno #2 Purple Haze stem got damaged, propped her up carefully in the hopes the stem might be able to heal, if I lose her I'll be sad but not surprised since these in-house seedbank genetics that are locally bred kinda suck, a lot... I definitely won't be buying any seeds from this seedbank ever again and rather try another one. Their seed stock is weak, repackaged and probably old along with being incorrectly stored. I still have 2 x Jack and 1 x Gorilla Girl seeds if this Pheno dies. I won't start another 4th though, will rather just reserve the 3 for the next cycle and add one single fem auto seed as a 4th.

Pheno #1 for Jack Herer I put on stakes and LST Pheno #3 is struggling a bit because I fucked the stem up a little bit, hopefully she can bounce back but I won't stress too much... Added blackstrap molasses and very low amount of veg nutes, upped biodyne etc which will hopefully fix the Ca deficiency, put up sticky traps to help with leaf miners and fungus gnats. Started LST on both today, barring any trouble I hope the damaged stem will recover. "Accidentally" HST'ed Pheno #3 and she survived, the pipe cleaner helped keep the stem up. She's growing new leaves in and the stem didn't need any attention. Bit of a brutal but necessary intro to "slightly hurting your plant in a planned way" as per the GD description lol. Oct 4: Day 12: Need to re-bend all the girls again, a bit difficult to do but I prefer giving them some time in-between training.

I was LST'ing the Purple Haze Pheno #3, I accidentally got a bend in the stem and it could have snapped or partially torn, I attached some photos hope these help. It was by accident, I have nerve damage and arthritis so I can't keep my hands still that much especially standing.

If possible I would try to straighten it up against the support. The way you have it, if it survives it will keep that curve. If you have them pipe cleaners would be more gentle than wire twist ties.

Still going alright despite pests and issues with the seed stock, injury etc. Both are going nice and strong, the LST has broken the apical dominance nicely, should expect ~4-8 main colas in the end if all goes as planned.

Going alright, both are looking good. LST is helping train the lower younger branches outward more so hoping for decent colas to form come pre-flower/flowering stages.

Week 5 - 6 I forgot to update on so the same photo + description for both. 3rd pheno is stunted sadly. Jack Herer is growing well, she was super small in the beginning but all the LST is removed from all 4 sisters. I must really say from what I've observed is how pheno, genotypes respond to LST, defolation etc. is that proper genetics make all the difference. Nutrients, experience, hard/soft water + pH measuring doesn't mean shit and introduces too much cost. My advice: - Grow Autos outdoors (or indoors if you have money to burn) - Use molasses and microbes in your soil at a minimum. - Don't be afraid to top/FIM autos past week 4 because they can and will bounce back. - LST start of week 2/3/4 and then remove the stakes ~week 7/8 for autos depending on how it goes. - Re-use your soil and mix mushroom substrate in - Always fill tops of pots with soil to prevent roots from getting exposed (only when all your soil is dry!) - Hard/soft water (tap/rain water) works fine, you don't need RO water and all this fancy shit like pH paper/meters. It's important to have yes but I feel it's unnecessary, dechlorinated tap water and rain water is perfect. Also, no offense to breeders or seedbanks and I know autos have their place, but seriously, fuck autos. I'm moving to photos after this tbh, good learning experience but right now it's just a massive money drain. Autos are meant for outdoors!

waste of time and using tiny 10L pots fucked this grow up, harvested Pheno #2 today, defintely not growing local genetics again because they fucking SUCK. No harvest or final photos because there wasn't anything to even harvest...

Great strain, growing it in a fucked up container didn't help.

dunno, this 2nd grow run was difficult and expensive so I'm putting growing on hold until I have a proper setup and can afford to do this shit. It just doesn't work right now.
