Yep, you can tie branches down and allow it to grow up vertically again. Or when it does turn vertical tie it back down to continue to bushyness. I've seen people use clothes hanger wooden things. Clip on to the end of branch causing it to bend and just the weight holds it down but allows it to grow vertically while staying bent down making it a nice open canopy. TopShelfStealth is the grower he is on the website. His Gorilla Cookies grow shows detailed photos in weeks 3-5. He gets like 9oz per plant indoors and grows 9 in a 4x4 every 10 weeks. Bro is doing something right. But yeah anyway to bend the branch over allowing side branches to catch up and become top colas themselves is the idea my friend. Please consider choosing me as the answer so I can be eligible for a chance to win grower of the month contest 🙏

On my Royal CBDV, some leaves show dark stains and feel a little paperlike. Seems like some nutrition might be missing. I started with Plagron Bloom this week. What would you recommend?

Dark stains on cannabis leaves, along with a papery or crispy texture, can be indicative of several issues, including nutrient problems or other environmental stressors. Since you've recently started using Plagron Bloom, it's essential to ensure that your plant is getting the right nutrients and that environmental conditions are suitable for flowering. Here's what I recommend: Nutrient Deficiency or Imbalance: The dark stains and papery texture on the leaves might be a sign of nutrient issues. When transitioning to the flowering stage, cannabis plants typically require different nutrient ratios than during the vegetative stage. Plagron Bloom is designed for the flowering phase, so it should provide the necessary nutrients. However, ensure that you are following the manufacturer's instructions for dosage and application. pH Management: Check the pH of your nutrient solution and growing medium. Cannabis plants prefer a slightly acidic pH of around 6.0 to 6.5 during the flowering stage. A pH that is too high or too low can lead to nutrient uptake problems. Environmental Conditions: Ensure that the environmental conditions in your grow space are appropriate for the flowering stage. This includes maintaining the right temperature, humidity, and light levels. High temperatures, low humidity, or light stress can affect the health of the plant and lead to nutrient uptake issues. Watering and Drainage: Make sure you're providing adequate but not excessive water. Overwatering or poor drainage can lead to nutrient problems and affect leaf health. To address the issue: Double-check your nutrient solution and pH levels to ensure they are within the appropriate range for the flowering stage. Monitor the environmental conditions and make any necessary adjustments to maintain a stable and optimal growing environment. Continue to follow the recommended dosage and schedule for Plagron Bloom. Trim and remove any severely affected leaves to prevent further stress on the plant and to improve airflow around the canopy. Keep an eye out for any signs of pests or diseases, as they can also affect the overall health of your cannabis plant. It's important to be patient and monitor your plant's progress. Cannabis plants can recover and adapt if you provide the right care and address any issues promptly. If the problem persists or worsens, consider seeking advice from experienced cannabis growers or consulting with a local grow shop for more specific guidance.

My main cola is turning brown due to the sugar leaves degrading. Is this already too late? The trichoms are still mainly milky. I plan to chop tomorrow. What do you think? Did I ruin my main cola by waiting too long??

Hallochen mate, I think temperatures below 18C and humidity above 80 could stun your growth. Probably roots are the most affected because if air is 9C - moist soil is probably even colder. I have an Orion too, almost same age, she grows inside though. Good luck and stay safe! 😺 check this VPD chart for veg https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2451/2393/files/veg_c.png?v=1583355250

Nice, I was tempted to try another cbd F1 strain from RQS. What do you use to check on the trichomes? It's damn clear! With my portable microscope I have to cut off and check it over a flat surface.

@Sejanus21, it arrived to me yesterday and the depth of field is damn narrow but not bad, I should learn to stay more steady!

@Sixshooterfelix, Thanks for stopping by. I will report on how this strain tastes. However, my Royal CBG has much denser and thicker buds. Stress Killer is growing like weed and has numerous buds. Royal CBDV has the poorest buds of all the five plants I am growing in this run. I will test other CBD strains (Cosmos F1, Solomatic, Purple CBD) in the next run.

Beautiful grow! I was thinking about growing this strain, I saw it in the 2024 seed calendar. Are all the fan leaves just a few digits? I noticed most are 3s and 5s
Sejanus21
Sejanus21
@Sachimira, Thank you! This really means a lot to me since Orion was my first grow. I did not order it, but RQS sent it to me as a freebie, so I testet it and the grow was very easy and umcomplicated. Highly recommended. I do not remember whether all fan leaves were few digits, but most of them were.

Pistils still look white on some pics... it's always hard to tell from photos but she looks like she needs a lot more time to mature, as you said maybe 2 weeks. Gawd knows though. Leaves look nice and green which is good, mine were super brown and dead by week 12.

@cadur, Thanks, the leaves of the Orion are dying quickly now; the Royal CBDV is still green. I am too impatient and will harvest the Orion F1 in the next days :-).
