Germination was wild. Dropped in ph 6.0 water for 24 hours. Then moved to a paper towel in a gallon ziplock bag for 3 days. Too long. I was trying to grow paper towel weed. Moved to rapid rooter and a solo cup. They’ve only been sprayed with a little water until today. I started them on very light nutrients.
Moved from solo cup to 1 gallon pot. Gave 2 cups ph 6.0 water with calmag. Then mixed new nutrients. Give 1 cup per day alternating with 1 cup calmag water
These girls are growing quick. Keeping the vpd around .9. Haven’t had any issues. Been increasing nutes and they’re responding well. Only thing to note on these really is the trunk on the green crack is twice the size of everything else.
Growing fine. Got moved to a 5 gallon pot. Added a little myco supreme during the transplant. Increased nutrients again. This will be the strongest nutrient solution I’ve used so far. I haven’t really noticed a positive or negative yet. Possibly stronger stems and branches??? Undermined if the increase helps or not. Probably won’t know until harvest. I’m watering until runoff. Every 3rd day or so I just give cal mag water and no other nutrients. I’ll need to top these soon. Haven’t done any LST yet
The pictures are technically the last day of week 7 according to my records. Not much changed. Still on a week 4 nutrient schedule from general hydro. I’ve done no LST really. I need to get a scrog in and flip these girls. Was waiting to get the floraflex platforms in. This cherry pie is wild and huge. I love the veg growth here. It explodes more every single day
This is the wild girl of the bunch. Growth just explodes everywhere. Very tall. Requires lots of defoliation and training if your height is restricted. This one stretched the most. Reminds me of the Larry Bird I grew
This is Spike! (Think Gremlins) My favorite plant ever. I’ve never named a plant until now. Look how straight all the hairs are standing. I love it. So sad I didn’t clone this. This 4x4 is way overcrowded and I am really regretting the lack of defoliation. I did some today but trying to be easy this late in flower. I’ve never smoked cherry pie
Spikes white hair is turning red. This has been my favorite strain this grow. Looks like we’re going to have some fat buds. Expect a hefty harvest from this gal
Just started flushing these and my light died. The tops were done so I harvested them. They are drying in the cannatrol now. All I had to put in here is a 100 w light. Will harvest the rest in about 8 days.
This has been chopped. Light died in last week of flower. This is drying in the cannatrol. I checked my ppfd when I went into flower and everything was fine. Light was completely out on Jan 1. Had to finish with 100 w light. This was not ideal. A lot of the lower flowers had seeds and didn't really finish. I assume my light was dying before the last week. Shit happens. 3 oz harvest isn't badl but would have been better had the light not failed. The smoke is still absolutely wonderful though. In the future I will have a backup light but all my stuff is practically brand new and this light going out was not expected at all. We live and learn. I think this tastes like the aftertaste of a hostess cherry pie, great stuff
