Sixth grow of the season, a new journey with an indica strain that promises a lot of potency, LSD from Mafia Seeds. The name of the strain brings back good memories when we were all more innocent and maybe happier? Let the journey begin!
Second seed, the first one failed, the seed peeked through the substrate 3 days ago. During the day, I keep the seedling in the light of a window, without direct sunlight, maintaining the humidity of the small pot with a plastic dome until it sheds the seed shell. At night, I have all the new seedlings under a LED panel with blue diodes at 450nm; this light frequency promotes root development and compacting. As the first true leaves appear, I will decrease the distance of this top panel and add other side panels with spectrums to maximize vegetative growth (7700 and 6400K). All this while the seedlings are in the small pots; my intention is to transplant to the final pot within two weeks at most because I want to work on root development in the final pot as soon as possible. Once the transplant is done, I will distribute the plants across the two grow tents.
For this autumn/winter season, I have several techniques I want to improve, especially related to root development, watering, and light space. When emptying the pots from the previous season, I wasn't happy with the root development I saw. I also didn't like the small fabric pots I used for germination; it was very difficult to remove the seedling at transplant time, and the process wasn't clean, and I'm sure there were broken roots. For this season, I have germinated the seeds in small square pots with grooves inside to help prevent the roots from spiraling. I have also made a light substrate mix, using substrate, coconut fiber, and bokashi in equal parts, plus a bit of azomite and homemade auxins in powder, and a good amount of zeolite. This season, I want to try several things: the efficiency of zeolite compared to vermiculite, different substrate mixes for the final transplant, and finally a different watering technique for the first weeks of growth.
To moisten this first substrate where I germinated the seeds, I used a mix of mountain water, homemade honey, gibberellic acid, and my coconut biofertilizer with Effective Microorganisms (EM). This preparation provides many minerals, sugars, and the cytokinin hormone. Essentially, I capture all the energy contained in green coconut water, energy designed to germinate and grow a coconut plant... let’s play! Also, for this new season, I will debut new specialized Bio Fertilizers that I have been fermenting anaerobically for at least 6 months.
Finally, this season I am going to grow eight strains; so far, five seeds have germinated, while three have not made it. The seeds rotted because I buried them too deep. Two days ago, I put three more seeds from the same strains to germinate, and I hope they peek through the substrate soon. I had a ninth seed in reserve that also didn't make it. I will grow 6 plants in the main tent, two less than last season; in exchange, I have increased the size of the pots and the distance between them. Additionally, I will have two more plants in my homemade cabinet, which allows me to illuminate it from all sides. In the end, the seedlings will have to strive to get the biggest pot and the best cabinet for each one, according to their morphology. This season, I have achieved a harvest similar to what I got in the second-to-last season; the difference is that in the first, I grew four large plants, and in the previous season, 10 smaller ones. This difference means more work and expense, but I take on the effort to have more variety of weed in my stash... all for the cause!

Second week of life for this psychedelic strain, and it’s definitely feeling at home in the space I’ve given it. The seedling is working hard to expand its root system, and the first roots have already started to appear at the base of the pot... let’s play!
I keep the moisture in the pot with pure mountain water. The substrate mix and the first watering I gave it with Bio fertilizers are enough for the seedling to develop at least for the coming week, as from that date I’ll consider transplanting it to the final pot. I don’t want this small pot to get saturated with roots; I want to start working on the cultivation and the expansion of the roots in the final pot as soon as possible.
At night, I keep the seedlings of this season in a homemade tent with two LED panels (66w), one in the canopy with blue diodes at 450nm and another with diffuse light on the side and a color temperature of 6400K. I’m looking for maximum leaf compactness and development. During the day, I have the seedlings under the filtered light of a window; I haven’t exposed them to direct sunlight yet, as I’m waiting for the development of the first true leaves... all for the cause!

Third week of life for this psychedelic strain, the seedling is gradually getting stronger, I'm going to wait to transplant it. My dog nibbled on it a few days ago, and that has helped revive it since the first true leaves are now showing while the stem is becoming woody. For now, there’s great compactness with very short internodes, and the first lateral branches are starting to grow.
This week I made a watering solution based on mountain water and nettle tea, which provides nutrients and minerals, mainly silicon to strengthen the whole plant, it will also promote rooting and favor microbial life. I also sprinkled diatomaceous earth on the surface to absorb extra moisture, thus preventing stem rot. Moreover, now that I expose the seedlings to direct sunlight, the white color prevents overheating on the substrate surface. On the other hand, as the diatomaceous earth dissolves with the watering, it will be adding silicon. When I have the small seedlings in direct sunlight, I cover the little pots with a white cloth to avoid substrate overheating.
Roots are already peeking out from the base of the pot, but I want more. This season, I'm paying special attention to root development. I'm really liking these small square pots; what I do is stack 3 of these pots to keep the pot with substrate elevated about 1cm, so air can circulate and the substrate doesn’t come into contact with the water I keep in the tray to maintain high relative humidity at the base of the pots. This way, the roots advance towards the base guided by moisture and gravity.
At night, I keep this season's seedlings in a homemade tent with two LED panels (66w), one in the canopy with blue diodes at 450nm and another with diffuse light on the side with a color temperature of 6400K. I'm looking for maximum compactness and leaf development. During the day, I have the seedlings in direct sunlight.

Fourth week of life for this strain, which promises psychedelia, the seedling is ready for transplanting. I've waited a few more days to give time for my other crop to strengthen: 3M ✿ Mom was a Queen. I'll do it in a couple of days, I transplant in pairs because I'm experimenting with two types of substrate mix.
During the night, I keep the seedlings from this season in a homemade tent with two LED panels (66w), one in the canopy with blue diodes at 450nm and another with a color temperature of 7700K. I'm looking for maximum compactness and leaf development. During the day, I have the seedlings in direct sunlight. On these hot days, I make sure the seedlings are hydrated and that the substrate in the small pot doesn't overheat. To avoid this, I place a cloth or white paper in front of the pots to reflect the sun's rays; these small black pots can overheat in no time.

Fifth week of life for this psychedelic strain, 5 days ago I transplanted it into an old-school 11L pot with side aeration, using homemade organic substrate and nutrients with minerals.
Yesterday, I topped off the pot with a first layer of reused mulch and a pre-cooked mix of dry amendments, then covered everything with dry organic matter from defoliations and leftover harvests, followed by a watering and into the grow tent it went. There were some leaves with burns from a foliar application last week, and I cut those off, but in these days since the transplant, the plant has evolved and looks very healthy!

Seventh week of life for this psychedelic strain, the plant has freed itself from the hormonal intoxication I caused in four of my other grows, it looks very healthy, growing compact with strong lateral branches. I've started tying down the branches to try to shape it; I aim for wide plants with manageable height.
I think the plant has a good root system, water consumption is increasing, and the plant shows daily growth... it's going to be a great grow!

Eighth week of life for this psychedelic strain, the plant is progressing powerfully after a few days of pause and after a stimulating watering with Nettle Purée, MMA Pumpkin, and Ormus to also release the substrate from excess nutrients. The leaf mass is capturing a lot of energy from the lights and expanding at the same time as the roots. Everything is going well; I’m going to wait 2 weeks before switching to flowering. I want plants with a strong root system to feed these plants mercilessly during flowering... let’s play!
I’ve continued adding ties to bend and dominate the shaping of the plant as much as I can.

Ninth week of life for this psychedelic strain and the last days in the vegetative growth phase!
The plant's evolution is looking great, it's very bushy and with the ties and light intensity, the height is ideal. Water consumption is increasing, and everything is ready for the flowering party. I keep the leaf mass almost intact to capture as much light as possible.
This week, I did a watering with a mix that has been noticeable throughout the plant. I combined 3 of my more complex Bio Fertilizers regarding the variety of Microbiology they contain. In one, I solubilize bird and bat guano (Ca, P, Mag...), in the second, I convert fresh blood nitrogen into amino acids, and the third captures all the hormones, vitamins, and minerals contained in fresh coconut water... let’s play!!

Eleven weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain!
It's been a week and a half since switching to flowering schedule, the plant looks really nice and has grown 6cm. I think it has another week to finish stretching, and then the flower party will begin.
It continues to have a good water intake, I water deeply every 4-5 days, the last two waterings with very light mixes (EC:0.55), so as not to disturb the plant during this transition to flowering and let it feed from the substrate at its own pace. The truth is, it's developing some really strong branches that will hold monstrous buds. As soon as the plants stop stretching, which will surely be next week, I will make the complete switch to side and auxiliary lights and start giving nutrients for flowering... without mercy!

Twelve weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain!
It's been two and a half weeks since the switch to flowering schedule, the plant looks really nice, it has grown 5cm and has started pre-flowering. I think the plant has finished stretching; this week I will make a radical change in the lighting strategy, switching to warmer color temperatures. In the plant's life, we would now be in August, and the tone of the sun at that time is redder than in spring, and even redder in autumn!
After these two weeks of transition, where I've done gentle and stimulating watering, the last watering, just yesterday, was aimed at giving the plant an energy boost based on amino acids derived from various animal protein sources. At the same time, I'm comparing different amino acid formulas across all the plants; from now on, the big game of flowering begins!
This week the plant has slightly decreased its water consumption; I water deeply every 5 days. The plant has a great leaf mass and strong branches reaching out for light.
Winter seasons, for me, have the advantage of having lower temperatures, so I can have many lights in the grow tent without fear of overheating. On the downside, relative humidity tends to be very high most of the time, especially with the lights off. To tackle that, I'm ensuring good air circulation and extraction, and additionally, when the relative humidity exceeds 70%, I'm putting a dehumidifier in the grow tent that I turn on/off in 15-minute cycles. So far, it's going perfectly.

Thirteen weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain!
It’s been three weeks since the switch to flowering schedule, and the plant looks really nice, it has grown 2cm which means it has stopped vertical growth and all the plant's energy is directed towards flower formation, the flower buds are already growing vigorously creating new and beautiful moments!
Four days ago, I changed all the side LED panels, I replaced the 6400K panel (60x30cm, 32w) with another one of 2800K, I also replaced the two side panels of 30x30cm, 32w (7700K and 450nm) with two others with 3000K and 660nm diodes, additionally, I replaced a 60x30cm and 32w panel with 4000K for two TLED bars of 50cm and 23w, from Secret Jardin for flowering, with fantastic diodes of 2100k, 3000K, and IR. To finish, I completed the light canopy with two new lamps to cover the sides of the tent very well, since having the lights too close to the tips reduces lateral reach, I added a 2800K COB with a 90° lens and 50w, on the other side of the canopy I added a high-brightness LED panel (20x20, 50w) with 2700K and 660nm diodes... let’s play!
I’ve started to take advantage of this light change to switch the Bio Fertilizers, I began the week with a deep and concentrated watering, a boost of energy based on amino acids, humic acids, and other macro and micro Bio nutrients, gradually I will be watering with mixtures where I will mainly enhance phosphorus and potassium.
During the vegetative growth period, every 10-15 days I have been adding dry amendments to the substrate at a rate of 1g per liter of soil, I have used in chronological order: Fish meal, Mealfrass, and feather and fish meal, a basically nitrogenous contribution that the plant will consume at its own pace, I also regularly replenish dry organic matter to the mulch, an essential contribution to keep the microbiology of the substrate very active.

Fourteen weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain!
The plant is fully focused on flower formation; this week they take center stage. There are five main branches, which I plan to help grow strong buds all along their path, ultimately producing fat and long colas. We'll see how the density of the strain develops. For now, it barely has a smell; you have to get really close and rub it to catch the first citrus aromas.
It’s been exactly four weeks since I switched to the 12/12 flowering schedule. The plant was 34cm tall, and today it finally measures 50cm, a perfect and very manageable size. Since this plant is now 10cm shorter than its tent mates, I’ve raised it on a pedestal to bring it closer to the canopy lights... let’s play!
This week, I also completed the lighting strategy. I added a new 3000K COB with a 120° lens (50w) to the canopy to ensure powerful light on all sides, leaving nothing in the shadows. Now with 6 lamps in the canopy (500w) and 5 side LED panels and bars (148w) covering the 4 corners, I total 648w. Divided among the 6 plants in the tent, that’s 108w per plant, which I believe will help me achieve maximum yield from this grow.

Fifteen weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain, five weeks since switching to 12/12h flowering!
The plant is moving towards glory, perched on a pedestal to be closer to the light, the buds becoming more prominent, the leaf mass intact, barely shedding any leaves, it needs all the energy, this plant is getting good light from all sides due to its size and mass.
Good water consumption considering the old-school pot, watering deeply every four days with an amount equivalent to 15% of the liters of soil in the pot.
The plant is also showing an insatiable appetite, it likes everything and in large quantities, the last 5 waterings with EC above 1.6, up to 2.5 in the last watering, this is the plant I'm feeding the most, each time different, just how I like it too... all for the cause!
I feed the plant with varied mixes of Bio Nutrients and at the same time I nourish the soil with new layers of mulch that I bring from the leaves discarded by the plant itself, I grind them and add them to the substrate, these still moist leaves have proven to be an excellent habitat for the proliferation of aerobic microbiology, currently all the mulch in my crops has a greasy feel, this is the unmistakable sign of the humification of the organic matter in the mulch, also, this week I added dry amendments like bone meal (Ca, P...) and worm guano or mealfrass (P, K, Mg...), this guano is excellent for me, as it promotes the proliferation of microbiology like no other and is easier to digest than classic bird or bat guanos, I also have a formula where I've solubilized this guano with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) and Fermented Grass, proving to be a fantastic compound to revive lazy crops.

16 weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain, six weeks since the switch to 12/12 flowering!
A powerful plant that devours everything with gusto, I keep giving it big watering feasts with EC above 2. The thickness and vigor of the flowering buds are spectacular. If this strain is as potent as the producer claims, it’s going to be a memorable grow!
Not much more to say, the plant retains a good leaf mass that is slowly shedding. The low temperatures are coloring the upper leaves, and I’ve added green leaves and grass to the mulch. Now, with a thick mulch, I maintain better moisture at the top of the substrate and provide a habitat for all the microbiology that lives and happily works in symbiosis with the plant's roots.
Today, I’m going to move this plant and another with a similar size to a different grow tent. I’ll be transferring them to my homemade tent that can hold two plants and has a lot, a lot of light. With this change, I optimize the grows since the two plants currently occupying my homemade cabinet are getting very big and were already cramped. I hope all the plants continue to be happy as they have been so far!

17 weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain, seven weeks since switching to 12/12 flowering, the thick buds are giving me beautiful moments and intoxicating me with their aromas, and there's still a lot of game to play!!
The change of grow tent and lights seems to suit her, I have 3 Full Spectrum lamps (200w) in the canopy and two side panels of 33w each with color temperatures of 2800K, 3000K, and 660nm, all very close to the plants... long live photosynthesis!
I've been away this week, and upon returning today, this plant was eager to show me the evolution of her cheerful buds, the leaves are taking on color while the shoots are showing vigorous growth with immaculate pistils and spectacular density; upon touch, the plant reveals intense aromas, she is growing, perfuming herself, and beautifying while waiting for a male to pollinate her, but she doesn’t know that one will never come, she doesn’t yet know that her destiny is not to reproduce, her destiny is for me to smoke her, and it is at that moment when the symbiosis between the grower and the marijuana plant is fulfilled... let’s play! 💃

18 weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain, eight weeks since switching to 12/12 flowering, the thick buds give me beautiful moments and intoxicate me with their intense aromas.
This week, the plant has met the producer's forecast of eight weeks for harvest, but no, the plant remains vigorous and lively, there's still a lot of play ahead, at least two more weeks. The plant maintains a stable and abundant water consumption for an old-school pot. I mix various bio-nutrients with each watering to ensure it has everything it needs. The room where I grow it, along with another plant, mainly stinks at night. The weight of the dense buds is especially noticeable when I lift the pot and see it sway... the journey continues!

19 weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain, nine weeks since switching to 12/12h flowering.
The evolution of the buds is brutal, they keep fattening without brakes, the plant retains a lot of leaf mass and resists losing it, the top of the plant tinted with dark colors due to the low temperatures offers impeccable moments.
The appearance of the plant still seems to have a lot of energy, I'm going to extend the grow while the buds show white pistils and the plant maintains its current metabolism, which is constant in water consumption and very tolerant of all the nutrients I give it. The density of the buds is enormous, they are hard as rocks, the aromas are intense and pleasant, this grow has everything to become a cannabis monster to play with!

21 weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain, eleven weeks since the switch to flowering 12/12h.
Great plant with huge colas that have forced me to support the trunk, as the enormous weight threatened to topple the plant.
The sight of the fat, shiny trichomes still doesn't reveal maturity; this week I've started to reduce the concentrations in the watering mixes to purify the plant in some way, feeding on the nutrients retained in the substrate, watering every four days, and starting from the next watering, I'll do it only with mountain water (PH: 8, EC 0.3).
The companion in the homemade grow tent, I'm going to harvest on Sunday along with another plant from the main tent, then I'll move this plant to the main tent and disconnect the lights from the homemade tent, currently with 266w, I'll probably take a 50w COB FS to the main tent for the last days or weeks of my joy garden.

22 weeks into the life of this psychedelic strain, twelve weeks since switching to 12/12 flowering.
Yesterday I gave this plant its last watering; in four days, I’ll harvest it. I would keep this great plant forever, but it can't be; it must make way for other seeds eager to live.
For the last waterings, I’ve been using mountain water and molasses so the plant can feed at its own pace from what it finds in the substrate. Throughout its life, this plant has eaten a lot, and now that it's old, it needs rest before reaching the glory of its zenith.
The dense and huge buds remain very active and lively, although amber trichomes are starting to appear. I could extend the grow and let the buds mature more, but I don’t want effects that are too heavy... all for the cause!
Since last Sunday, this plant has moved to the main grow tent, as I harvested its companion from the homemade grow tent. I’ve unplugged 266w and added a 50w Full Spectrum COB to the main tent... let’s play!

Esta planta ha mostrado hasta el final gran vigor, ha comido y ha bebido todo lo que ha querido y parecía que siempre era poco, ha tenido luz intensa muy cerca de ella y no se ha molestado, al final me regala unos enormes cogollos muy pesados, densos, pegajosos y olorosos cargados de tricomas. La proporción hoja/flor es inmejorable, apenas unos pocos restos de hojas después de hacer la manicura completa a los cogollos. Al final el cultivo ha duplicado las previsiones de producción, ya altas, del productor de la semilla!
Ha sido un gran TRIP que esta vez acabó bien!

22 weeks of life for this psychedelic strain, twelve weeks since switching to flowering 12/12h.
Today I harvested this big plant after exhausting all the moisture from the substrate, very happy with the result and the memories this grow has left me, showcasing fantastic and surprising moments due to the size and weight of the buds and the vigor of the grow.
The biggest colas were hung in front of the extractor in the grow tent for the first few days to speed up moisture loss; the dry, hot air helped. After a couple of days, I moved them to the drying rack, and a week later, I stored them in the curing jar... two months later, I opened it and started smoking...
