Ready to chop. Was going to do it Saturday but my daughter took a macro with her nice camera so i could see the amber trichomes, and the leaves were looking haggred.

😏 Drip sysem hydroton. Ozone generator next to airpump to periodicaly oxygenate nutrient tank? I imagine it could have a similar effect as peroxide or ucroots. Am I right? Will this affect the nutrients or pH negatively?

No don't use it. It just negatively charges the air. Plus it will kill your plants with heavy exposure.

Death bubba week 10 of bloom, in flush. All pistils were orange but now lots of foxtail are appearing, with bright white pistils. Harvest in 6 days but if new pistils are still white should I wait? Trich cloudy, I am unable to get in close with a lupe to see how much amber.

One hour less if they are photoperiod plants. Reducing the light time will not affect the quality or potency of the already mature flowers.

this depends on how manynew calyxes there are.. except for extreme contexts, i don't think it is worth waiting for small % of improved yield. It also has a negative effect on overall quality, imo, too. The plant is on several different developmental timelines under normal circumstances, now with a new wave og growth WAY after the original growth, i'd assume that create more variance in ripeness throughout the buds. This may or may not matter to some, but i want consistency. So, i generalyl do not wait for a new wave of late pistil growth to ripen. Each to their own. Some genetics are their own animal. I think organoman is on to somethign in regard to the cause of your foxtails. This can be some bad genetics too. it can also be due to weak light if not mistaken? Your plants have extreme fertilizer imbalances and symptoms all over the place, which can't help either. You can always snip off foxtails that aren't fully ripe.. make butter, hash or rosin etc from it.

To stop the foxtailing, reduce your lights on time by 2 hours.

pH creeps up every day. Suspected P deficiency. Flushed the system with pH 5.8 water, then mixed up a new batch of nutes. One plant was seriously dehydrated because old emmitters were unreliable, another the next day had same problem. Drip emitters that came with the LetPot kit are horrible, I replaced them with pressure compensating 1gph drippers and its working beautifully.

pH went up drastically for some reason, I corrected it from 6.8 to 5.8, then this morning it was already 5.9. PPM went up slightly, but still, in range. This is day 5, so they are still establishing roots. These clones are 6", much larger than ones I have had before. My system takes up 24" of vertical space leaving me 48" minus lights, so about 33 inches. I will have to bend them as soon as they are established to manage height.

4 days ago pH was out of control. I adjusted it to 5.8 and very soon it was 7.8. This happened a couple of times, then I noticed my res was full of brown slimy foam. Roots were white. Algae. H2O2 didn't kill it. Ended up emptying everything, flushed with h2o2 for several hours and scrubbed it down. Gave the room, tent open, a 10 minute ozone treatment while I mixed new nutes. Filled it with the fresh nutes and it has been stable ever since. Plants are very happy.

Yesterday I saw one plant is growing super fast so I decided to supercrop them all. I will let them recover and grow a few more inches before I top them. Tomorrow is the 2 week mark, I hope I can go the planned 5 weeks before I flip the lights.

Its been a few days since defoliating, and they seem fine. There is bud growth. rH has been between 52 and 60 for the most part, but there was an huge and unexplained spike day before yesterday. Humidifier tank was only half full. It resolved itself, but I have no idea what caused it. pH has been stable, they are thirsty, and every day the TDS creeps up. Res change today. Used much less nutes for a total of 1150 PPM. Hope they are happy. 1 They got Chitosol in their nutes today. This usualy causes a boost in growth, but this is the first time with extensive defoliation. Tomorrow will tell.

Tiny clusters of pistils here and there. 😀 Getting smellier, can't replace my filter just yet, so ONA gel will have to do. Praying that the vertical growth will slow. Trying to decide whether to keep leaf tucking or defoliate...it's pretty crowded but I don't want to encourage a vertical growth spurt.

An explosion of growth. Foliage was so dense, yesterday I decided to defoliate and prune a bit early, focusing on the lower and inner leaves and tiny branches. Girls responded well. I wish my scrog net was tighter, its a bit challenging to tie them down. So far the low supercrop seems to have no problems.

@BudBoutique, Thanks, Bud! They are drinking more than eating lately, roughly 2 gallons per day between the three of them with ppm climbing slightly.

Complete flush and only water with terpinator and hocl. Tomorrow marks the end of 10 weeks, but I won't have a chance to chop for a few days. Leaves looking pretty ragged. I cant get in with a lupe like i used to, so I hope theres enouoh amber.

I will stick with the original plan. Only 4 or 5 days to chop. If I wait too much longer to start my next crop, I won't get a second one done before the hottest months. The branches are heavy, but not to breaking point. The net and binding seem to be holding everything up. The smell is amazing. The dogs, especialy the German Shepherd, love to be in the room when I am gardening. Actualy, they seem to like it when I am grinding weed. The Cattledog is getting older but her nose wakes up as soon as I open a jar, and the Shepherd is soon underfoot.

Happy New Year, girls! You are doing great, despite the heat and lights. I see brand new foxtails sending bright white pistils over the brown ones. I asked you to make your mother proud, and I am certain that you have. Enjoy the beginning of 2024, as soon you will be drying and curing, then giving me comfort over the remainder of the year while I grow out more stash companions. It is foolish to guess or hope for a certain harvest weight, but I guess that in a way I am a fool. My hope is for 6 ounces but to be truthful 4 ounces would be satisfying, to gift some and still keep me medicated for my next 2 grows. So enjoy the water, use those enzymes, and fatten up as much as you can, your harvest is just around the corner. With love VitaMan

Clogs again. Manualy watered, tried clearing the lines. Cleaned parts in bleach. Switched to bleach from hypochlorous acid in res, for now. Pump worked for a few minutes only, plugged again. Sooner than planned, but I will have to empty the system and run just water u til harvest.

Wondered why they weren't drinking, tent humidity low, and dehumidifier not collecting much water. Turned out that the drip lines were completely clogged. Replaced some emitters and line, soaked others in citric acid.
