All seeds popped within 3 days. Unfortunately I knocked a cup over and murdered one bringing me down to 11 our of 12. I will be picking 6 out of them to grow out as this is my first attempt of growing out a strain I have been playing with since the 90s. All started with bag seed back then. About 11years ago I found bag of seeds. To my surprise I had 18 regular seeds and five of them actually popped. At the same time I was germinating some nirvana strains, master kush and blue mystic. I ended up with a male and female of both of them as well as 2 females and 3 males of my bag seed breeding "pollen chucking"from the 90s. I ended up breeding all of the males to each one of the females by collecting pollen and using a q tip to pollinate. I only ended up with 10 of the master kush x my monstrosity, 27 of the blue mystic x my monstrosity , and 8 of the original my monstrosity x my monstrosity. I then grew 2 of each of those seeds ending up with 1 female of the kush cross 2 females of the blue mystic the rest were all culled males. The kush cross stunk from the second it grew its first set of true leaves . The mystic cross was fully to say the least. The keeper ended up being the kush cross based on popular opinion. I popped the remaining 8 kush cross seeds and chose both a female and male out of them that both stunk from the start and crossed them. I let them openly get freaky and ended up with 1000s of seeds. Over the years I have tried to stabilize the funkyness by always choosing the smelliest . I quit growing for quite a while. Then last year started again. I popped 5 of my old seeds and only got 2 females. One I gave away the other stunk so bad that carbon filters in veg couldn't put a dent in the smell so I then took 5 clones from her and started flowering them out. Keeping the mother in a separate tent. As soon as the trichomes started developing I realized I had something great so I took 6 more clones from the mother then threw her in the flower tent. It ended up being the best most potent and dank I had ever personally grown. I put them through all kinds of temperature extremes cut all kinds of branches from the mom during flower hoping to force out an hermie tendencies and they finished flawlessly even with horrible ph at times. So I took the remaining 5 clones and put two in the flower tent one week apart . From day one I sprayed them with my own sts spray daily. The third week I moved two more clones in and I sprayed the first two outside of the tent every day most of the time some times every 2nd or 3rd day until I sene pollen sacks. At which point I moved the last clone to the tent. About 8 weeks later I had thousands of my very own selfed seeds. I have given 20 seeds each to 5 of my friends and they all grew them out while I finished out some other strains I had bought . Everything they've showed me looked very similar to my original mom. I expected more variation. In any case I am now growing 12 of my own and picking my favorite 6 to flower out
