Decadent {r} is a crossing i have made between a feminized Californian gold [f] #1 female witch was a freebee from paradise seeds at the time and a regular Moose and lobsta [r] (m) #1 male from dynasty genetics. I have popped two seeds in the hope of making an F2 version and maybe some other crossings.
This crossing between a feminized Californian gold [f] #1 from Paradise seeds and a regular Moose and lobsta [r] (m) #1 from Dynasty genetics came out pretty nice.
The female is not the heaviest yielder but I am interested in the dried outcome of this crossing.
The male gave me plenty of pollen in about four weeks time for me to brush pollinate the lowest two branches of the decadent female for an F2 version with it. As well as several clones I had of my own creation Blue king lobsta #2 and #3, Silver haxe [f] from Vision seeds. An regular Blue berry indica pheno female from Spliffseeds. My own creation of Blue moose in lobsta heaven #1 and #2. My own MiLKush [r] (f) female. A clone from a never ending phenotype of Grape ape [f] from Weedseed express. And a Wild Thailand [f] clone from World of seeds
End week 5 in the flowering of this regular Decadent [r] (f) #1 female. this is a crossing between a feminized Californian gold [f] #1 from paradise seeds and a regular Moose and lobsta [r] (m) #1 male from Dynasty genetics.. I think i see some Moose and lobsta shinning through.
Maybe another 5 weeks. We shall see
End week 6 and the plant is showing some signs of yellowing. I have been light feeding because of some overfeeding issues with the soil i re-use and a high dose of fertilizer.. I believe to see some Moose and lobsta kind of flowers although i think this Decadent has a higher leaf to flower ratio then the Moose and lobsta females i have grown. Lots of trichomes. Hope to beef it up a little bit more. I have pollinated the lowest two branches with pollen collected from a Decadent [r] (m) male to create regular Decadent F2 beans and another branche with some of my last Blue king lobsta [r] (m) [Mr. Fantasic] male pollen i had stored in my deepfreeze for well over two months to create ExtraOrdinary #1. At the same time i have pollinated a Blue king lobsta [r] (f) #2 and a Blue king lobsta [r] (f) #3 clone with some Decadent [r] (m) pollen to create ExtraOrdinary #2 and ExtraOrdinary #3. Would be fun to grow these out together some day.
The Decadent [r] (f) #1 female is coming to the end of week 7 and she's beautiful to look at with all that orange and white. There's some Californian gold and Moose and lobsta mixing going on here with lot's of trichomes and hopefully another two weeks of beefing up.
The seeded bud's with Decadent [r] F2 beans are at the end of week 5 and the bud pollinated with pollen from the Blue king lobsta [r] (m) #1 [Mr. Fantastic] male are just over week 4 so if i can squeeze out two more weeks the beans will be definitely ready.
End of week 8 into the flowering of this regular Decadent [r] (f) #1 female. I,ve cut the two lowest branches which i pollinated with pollen collected from a regular Decadent [r] (m) #2 [Mr. S. Proud] male and it gave me 123 regular Decadent F2 [r] beans to play with. The smell is hard to discribe. There is the Moose and lobsta but also there is something floral, sweet accidic tangie stuff going on.
If it's anything like the Moose and lobsta i,ve grown this one could go for another two weeks. W'll see.
The regular Decadent [r] (f) #1 female is a very easy plant to grow. It grows fast. And delivers a very nice combination of a feminized Californain gold female from Paradise seeds and a regular moose and lobsta [r] (m) male from Dynasty genetics.
I pollinated two branches with pollen collected from the male Decadent variant and that gave me 123 regular Decadent F2 beans and I pollinated another branch with some of my last Blue king lobsta pollen and that gave me 69 regular Extraordinar #1 beans. All in all a very nice resilient plant with a mouthwatering end product.
I have cut down the regular Decadent [r] (f) #1 female after almost 9 weeks (11 weeks including two weeks 12/12 shift) into the flowering. She could go for another week i guess but i am anxious to flower out my regular White widows that have been hogging up my grow space.
I am very pleased with the result of me crossing a feminized Californian gold [f] from Paradise seeds with a regular Moose and lobsta [r] (m) #1 male from Dynasty genetics. I germinated two Decadent [r] Beans and I had a boy and a girl. Both plants grew quickly and sprouted very fast.
The lady exhibits a huge amount of trichomes and is sticky as a mutherfocker. It gave plenty of good trimmings for some canna-butter with lots of resin on the sugarleafs. The female plant was very easy to trimm. The siscor-hasish and Charas from my fingers delivered a warm tingling sensation with a carefree stone.
I am having a hard time to come up with an description with regard to the smell of this lovely lady with solid but not so dense buds as I hoped for. That is something to work with in the next iterations. There is a distinct flowery sweetness in the smell combined with a acidic sweet and sourness on top of that it reminds me somewhat of old school northern lights. Once in a while I get something off a roadkill/burned onions kind of smell. It is just to darn complex for me to explain.
