Welcome community to the start of my Runtz S1 diary, direct sow, in Coots mix. I let the soil cook with a top crop of yellow clover for a while now( about a month! ) so I'm pretty sure all the microbial activities have calmed down enough for this young lady to be alright. Fingers crossed...I've had living soil eat up seedlings on me before thats why I only started one like this...as an experiment so to speak. Anyway its the general Coots recipe of peat moss, castings and aeration with the nutrients and minerals of course. I also water with quillaja and LABS. The lactic acid is great for the soil just don't over do it or your soil will become acidic. I also do my own JADAM microbial solution which is amazing for the rhizosphere. So yeah she's already been in the ground for a few days and is looking good. We'll see ya next week.

Welcome back to the first week of vegetation. So she's made it through her first week but we're still not in the clear and their is still some issues with the soil that need to be sorted out but all in all I think she'll be fine. If not I'll pop another Bean and give her some time before I transplant her into the coots mix...this was just an experiment to see if the genetics could handle the microbial activity and the other two ladies are doing great. So we'll just play it day by day for her and keep out environment set where it's at and give her the best chance we can. We won't be feeding her anything until bloom if she makes it through veg, at least that's the plan with her. Thanks for stopping by.

Alright, she's back in action...I had to transplant her to a medium with less microbial activity than the coots mix. I still haven't found a seed that can start to finish in coots mix. Regardless she's going to be about a week behind the other two but we'll see what we can do to make her a little special 😉. I gave her a root drench with JADAM microbial solution and top dress of Bokashi, which definitely did the trick for bringing her back from the dead. Thanks for stopping by.

So she's making a come back but we do have a little fungus gnat problem that I'm trying to zap away with Castile soap. So I'm hoping that gets solved fast because that's more annoying than anything. Regardless she's moving along and I've treated her with a root drench of lactic acid bacteria and this week I'll be giving her as well as the other two some FPE to help get them moving along. It's a nice tap root FPE and tomato so it'll do them justice. So that's all for now. Thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week.

The little tike is making a come back! I'm going to add a top dress of Gaia Green all purpose and some more Growing Organic Bokashi to help her get going some but I think she's gonna be just fine. I'll flower her right along with the others but properly with just some LST. Well thanks for stopping by and checking on us and we'll see ya next week.

Not much to report on for this young lady. She's definitely gonna be alright but she's a little ways behind....all good though. Gave her some more Bokashi and watered her with Taproot FPE and LABS. She's trucking right along.

Alright so the girls are looking a little rough because of these gnats fighting... smh. I believe I'm finally winning the war over them so the girls should be bouncing back and we can get them looking a little better. These things are gnarly. The larva are the worst and the damage they have caused to the feeder roots is incredible. But regardless, I put down a top dressing of Gaia All Purpose, insect Frass, Growing Organic Bokashi and some flaxseed. I also watered them with some Alfalfa Ferment from the awesome people over at Growing Organic who hooked me with some awesome organic supplies. Highly recommend. That should definitely help get the soil back together as well from the treatments I had to give the top soil. It damaged the beneficial microbes as well as the gnat larva unfortunately. Well we'll see next week.

So we've finally gotten over our gnat problem and can transplant this lady this week into the big 3x3 bed with trilogene Hasbulla grow. I think she'll take off after that. I gave her some fresh nutrients and a good alfalfa and quinoa SST watering to help replace the damage from the gnats and it's slow work but she's okay. I know once she gets into the big bed of living soil she's going to be loving life. This one has grown on me so I'm going keep her around lol...of course, what else would I do?!?! Well we'll see ya next week after I transplant this girl.

Alright! We finally got this little lady transplanted and looking somewhat decent! She's now in her final resting place lol and has been given a nice amendment of BAS Craft, Gaia Frass and rock dust and Growing Organic Bokashi. She's loving life right now! I also gave the girls a compost tea that was sent to me of some alpaca manure that was inoculated with beneficial microbes and bacteria. Pretty cool stuff imo and it definitely helped out ten fold. This is the last week before I send all of these ladies into bloom and that's when the real fun starts! 😉 Thanks for sticking it out with us and we'll see ya next week when we put these girls into flower!

Alright, we're done with the veg process for this little lady and check out the come back! The Scotty's Wizard Poo Brew did it's thing for restoring the beneficial microbes and then we came around with a nice top dress of COM Organic soil, mixed with BAS 3.0 nutrient mix (not potting soil!) And some awesome Growing Organic Bokashi Bloom! So this girl is ready for bloom for sure. I also have some Build a Flower on the way that I'll be putting down this week coming up and then that's that until around week 4 of bloom when we start the pride Lands Bloom. I can't wait to see how she does in the living soil bed!

Alright so now we're actually all caught up to what week we're really on....week 2 of flower is now over! This girl has made a great come back and is looking amazing as far as I'm concerned. She's starting to get a great smell to her as well! Like funky gasy candy. She might be a winner ladies and gentlemen 😉. Anyways I put down some build a flower compost and gave her a nice watering with growing Organic Insect Frass Ferment. I also put down a fresh layer of Kashi bloom for week 3 so this girl is set! I can't wait to see how she stacks up. We have another week left of the Athena foliar regiment then we're smooth sailing. See ya next week!

Welcome back to the end of week 3 of bloom. Last week we gave the girls some insect Frass Ferment like usual, just basically continuing the watering and the frass every week for now... nothing special. We'll throw in a compost tea every other week if needed from Scotty's Wizard brew, which is made from Alpaca manure and beneficials. It's amazing stuff but very powerful so I don't wanna over do it. You definitely can love your plants too much! Anyways this one is the keeper. She smells like funky ⛽🍬 😜, already! And she's starting to get some nice early trichome coverage which is always a great sign of a heavy resin producer. I have a feeling she's going to have an amazing terpine profile and just be a very showy flower. Well that's it for now, we'll see ya next week! Let's see this girl stack!

Here we go! End of week 4 bloom and this girl is stinking up the whole tent believe it or not! She's a little light right now as far as flower but it's still early and she was also the runtz of the crop during veg so I'm not expecting her to have a massive yield. But I am expecting her to have an amazing terpine profile! It just keeps getting better and better as the weeks go by 😉. She's definitely getting coated with resin and has a great flower structure for what's to come. Can't wait to see her in full bloom! We're basically just watering and giving her ferments once a week until harvest. I'll throw in a compost tea every other week if needed but all in all these girls are set. We'll see ya next week!

So we're coming up on the end of week 5 and this girl is looking pretty decent but unfortunately the blumat has a problem and was giving her a bit too much water.... regardless we got it fixed and hopefully she bounces back and starts to get her nutrients more efficiently so she can fill in for us. I ended up doing another wizard brew compost tea and we're continuing the insect Frass Ferment from Growing Organic because we'll, it works! I love the terpene profiles I've been getting ever since I started with ferments. Homemade and otherwise....KNF friggin rocks period and not just for the ferments. I figure this strain and Pheno will take at least 9 weeks for her to reach full maturity so we have time. This week I'll be putting down some Pride Lands Bloom since we have some other plants that just moved in and these girls are about do. She has a great looking structure as long as she fills in in these next weeks so let's see what happens!

Here we are at the end of week 6 flower for this little lady and it looks a bit rough, I know...but actually she's finally getting over her over watering from the last week which is good. She did go full out chester cheetah on me though which is different lol. But her smell is back and booming and hopefully she stacks on a little more bud before harvest comes. If not it was definitely my fault with this one all the way. First the gnats and then transplanting her before she was over her shock, then the run away blumat....sheesh. she's had a rough life man! Anyways I through down a top dress on the whole 3x3 so the girls are good for nutrients and they also have some new companions 😉. Couldn't help it,.the bed looked so bare after I had to pull those herm plants. Well thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week.

Like I said...I had to chop her down because, well she was finished believe it or not lol. Not much of a yield but dang does she smell friggin amazing! Super funky and gassy so that kinda makes up for it. She's going to be a nice head stash for sure lol. I've already dried her and trimmed her up so I'll get a smoke report here soon...can't wait! I appreciate you guys watching her grow with me, even though she struggled...they can't all be winners. The other two Runtz will be chopped down this week coming up as well and they are something special 😉.
