A difficult climate this year, electric storms and dry heats. After the transplant to 3L they have recovered vigor. I do not care about the leaves that I lost, there is a long time ahead and their roots are glorious.
Very interesting to see an outdoor grow so late in the season. May I ask where about in the world are you located my friend?
Our Chocolate mint og is proving quite popular on the grow diary platform. Let's see what you can do with this legendary strain ๐
Good luck mate. We will be watching with interest ๐
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
Growing slowly but steadily ๐
Can I ask will you be getting enough light for this grow?
I'm not familiar with you climate my friend ๐
Looking good from here. Definitely 2 different phenotypes so this should be fun to watch develope ๐
Until next time ๐

@ProfesorExplicito, Thats awesome , I will follow along as i am also growing this strain from Humbolt , im indoors using COB LED , Best of luck on your grow
Very nice dude.
I had/have a plant (random seeds) that had very VERY similar leaf colouring/discolouring and I had some caterpillar and fungus gnat issues. Check the undersides of your leaves, or dense areas for eggs and such (about the only thing I can think of, regarding your unknown damage).
Otherwise it might be something in the soil (root aphids, bad nematodes or some shitty worms). Though that's trickier to address, I would suggest stuff like a bit of marigold, rosemary and random pesticidal plant teas and perhaps a tiny bit of oil, chillies, garlic, that sort of stuff if you do have root pests. I've used that to (seemingly) good effect. Very difficult to tell though.
Best of luck!
@ProfesorExplicito,
Hey, sorry, I've been having a few "odd" days.
I just rechecked some of your pics and it kinda looks like you have aphid damage there (the white spots and such), again, I can't be sure but check that out if you can.
Along with aphid damage you might get mildew (which can be pretty bad if you have lots of moisture (and I see you give your plants A LOT of water, I've used about 0.5-1.0l daily for my 20l pot plants). Not gonna claim my 20l pot plants look as good as yours, but they are random seeds and have been going for 7 months, no manual stress applied. They're pretty skinny/upright but quite tall (somewhat due to pot shape). Excluding pot height, shortest was about 1.2m, tallest over 2m.
It kinda looks like you do have mildew there, can't be sure, so just watch out. I would tentatively suggest diluted hydrogen peroxide foliar spray or something similar if you DO happen to have mildew/aphid damage.
Here's an example of one of my plants (quite a different sort of plant, in soil, not in pot, lots of heat/light stress, but still) that I'm sure has aphid damage and mildew, though the aphid damage (small white spots) is difficult to notice here:

Sorry if this is pointless information, btw. Especially considering I'm a noob, but yeah I've seen various kinds of damage on many plants. Just precaution, since I've had similar stuff. What I thought was nice frosty weed turned out to not be.
Now that they have been potted up into the 7l pots I'm seeing a lot better growth ๐
Can I ask. Will you be repotting again? If so what size pots will you be using?
I personally think you need to double that pot size to around 15l. Would this be possible?
Looking good so far buddy and thank you for the diary update ๐

Nice harvest man!
Could you smell the plants from far? I have one in open soil in my garden (already 35 days old) and Iโm starting to think the smell is going to be to noticable :) there is a walkpath 10 meters next to my garden but thereโs a fence so normally they canโt see it.
Nice job on the potting up my friend and by the look of things no transplant shock ๐
Where about in the world are you located mate?

Some very impressive growth over the last 2 week's ๐
Letting her grow natural. This is going to be interesting ๐
I would consider putting some support in place. Possibly bamboo canes as when those buds start to develope they are going to get big and we would hate for you to lose any branches ๐
๐Just a thought my friend
