I'm uploading my current grow diary again on to this account because something has caused me to have an terrible memory and I thought my old diaries had been deleted, not that I just used a different email address for the account 🙄 anyway I'm only 3 weeks in so just gonna upload everything again for my sanity 👍 I've finished setting up the grow space now 😊 Washed my clay pebbles for a drainage layer, added in my biobizz light mix and a sprinkle of pebbles on the top to prevent compacting. I've watered each pot with a litre of water with 2ml of fulvic, they'll be ready for seeds in 3 days which is when they'll be delivered 🎉🎉 4th October Seeds arrived Monday so I soaked them in some 2ml per litre fulvic solution for 6 hours then put them in their pots. Have been spritzing the center and lightly watering the outside of pots when they looked a bit dry. Turned the lights on to their 18/6 schedule and waited almost patiently, then today I see my little ones poking out 😁🎉

I've recently found out that the led light I have which is a Mars Hydro TS600 is not in fact 600w and is actually 100w. Do I need to compensate in any way? My plants look healthy but short, I don't want to put the light too far away that it's ineffective, how close is too close?

I use a light meter app on my phone: PPFD Meter. With it you can measure relatively accurately how much light your plants are receiving. This takes the guesswork out of lighting. And it is more accurate than simply saying "I have 100w do I need more?" When you measure you can instantly see if you need more light which you can remedy with a more powerful light, turning up the power on the light or moving the light closer.

I'm coming to the end & I think they need a few more weeks at least, but I may be just kidding myself, thinking they're gonna double in size. I'm gonna use ripen for the final 2 weeks with a 48h flash clean before & after, so should I start now or wait for more amber trichomes?

I see mostly cloudy trichomes and a good amount of pistil dry back. I would say if you wanted to wait a week it might amber up a bit. Other wise its prime and ready. There is a lot of misinformation aorund the practice of flushing. It is a tool that is good to use to correct a issue in the medium to avoid a catastrophic problem. The act of flushing in the hopes the plants will be rid of excess nutrients is just not true. The plants do not store excess nutrients in the buds, they do this in big fan leaves and stalks and in the roots. Pouring tons of water will not wash them out, it will just stress the plant out and starve it, flushing agents are just chemicals designed to lockout nutrients that are available they don't do anything else despite some of their marketing. Companies will say anything to sell a product and little to no regulation prevents oversight on BS marketing. If you wanted to do just do water last week of life it would be better and cheaper then flushing and using flushing agents. Good Luck!

@Lonelygrass, Thank you 😊 I would love an upgrade just not in the budget at the moment, hoping to make some big savings soon 🌳 I may grab another TS600 as they're only £62 now what a bargain!
