Day 1 (2024-10-28)
Starting the grow after successful germination
Day 6 (2024-11-02)
I was away from day 1 until today. Both Hulkberries popped up, but it seems like there was not enough light (I’ve set the lamp at the lowest intensity). Raised the intensity to 30%. The temperature is around 24-25 C, humidity is around 60%
Day 8 (2024-11-04)
After raising the light intensity (now 50%), the plants stopped stretching up and slowly started developing. The northern light haven’t popped up eventually.
2023-11-11 Day 15:
HulkBerry #1 seems healthy and #2 looks pretty weird. I’ll keep it for now, but I don’t have much hope it’s going to make it.
Also gradually switched to 18 hours light and 90% lamp intensity.
2023-11-18 (day 22):
I added the air extractor, which dropped the temperature in the tent and now the light is at 100% intensity.
Things look good with the plant #1. I started introducing nutrients. 0.5 ml of BioGrow per liter of water. Not sure what to do with the second (mutant) plant. Going to keep it for now.
2023-11-25 (Day 29):
Last week I noticed that tips of younger top leaves are getting yellow. I suspect the light burn but not 100%. Moved the lamp higher (~50 cm above the top of the plant now). Also checked the temperature at the top: ~ 30 degrees Celsius. I guess a nutrient burn can also be a case, so I feed the plants with only water for now.
Last week I noticed that tips of younger top leaves are getting yellow. I suspect the light burn but not 100% sure. Do photos look like a light burn to you?
It looks like nitrogen toxicity. Just feed less nitgrogen and i think they should be just fine. But don't forget to watch the ph if you feed them less/nothing suddenly. Sometimes that can cause a fluctuation in ph, to which some plants can react negatively. happy growing buddy 🌱🌞🍀
2023-12-02 (day 36):
Everything looks good. I am still cautious adding recommended (by Biobizz) amount of nutrients after seeing the signs of nutrient burn last week. Going to slowly add more and observe how the plants react.
2023-12-09 (day 43):
I tried to add more nutrients, but the plants responded with a slight nute burn, so I’ll keep adding only 0,5 ml per liter for now. Otherwise things are going well.
2023-12-16 (day 50):
Some of the older leaves turned yellow and fell off. At first, I thought it was caused by natural reasons, but the issue quickly started to affect more leaves. It looks like nutrient deficiency, so I’m slowly adding more Bio-Grow (from 0,5 ml/liter to 1,5 ml/liter currently).
2023-12-23 (day 57):
Still trying to balance the amount of nutrients since the plant demonstrates some signs of nute burn and, at the same time, the older leaves are getting yellow falling off.
I don’t feel like winning the battle to find the balance of nutrients. Many leaves fell off and, at the same time, there is a growing indication of nutrient burn. I decided to use plain water once and see how it goes.
