The 9th week of flowering is now over.
I have not found any mold or anything else. The climate is constant.
Against my will, however, I have now had to start partially harvesting some of the plants. This is necessary because the difference in maturity between the upper and lower parts of the plant is too great. This is of course due to too much growth and too little space. As I said, next time there will be 9 plants instead of 12. This will also allow more light to reach the lower flowers, which are still very bright now. However, I only cut off parts where the trichomes were already well matured and milky to slightly brown. I think I will gradually cut off more over the next few days, as I think the lower parts of the plants may still need up to 2 weeks. But you can also see from the main buds that some are still swelling and growing.
Apart from that, there is now a strong smell when you open the tent. The flowers are very thick and rock-hard and have become very sticky. Even lightly touching the plants makes your hands sticky and extremely smelly.
When you touch the Mimosa X Orange Punch, you think you've put your hand in Fanta. The Fat Freddy's Cat also has the classic Cali note and tends towards earthy, while the Mimosa smells a little more fruity. So far, however, both varieties have been very convincing. The London Pound Cake X Zoap also smells very strong. The flowers are a little smaller here, but it is also a week younger.
I only gre the Mimosa x Orange Punch once. Really strong orange and citrus smell, but lacking in taste. The high was extremly strong though, not for everyday, because my head and body became like jelly. She was sativa leaning with a near endless ceiling for effects. Didn't want to grow her again, cause the structure was far off from what i expected. Seeing all those nice looking versions makes me want to give her another chance though.
@Flipsie, Of the three seeds I had, each plant had a slightly different pheno, though all had an extreme smell, with 2 having clearly lost terpenes after drying. It still smelled strong, but no longer tasted like much (but still good). I also have to say that proper drying was key. The plants that I didn't hang up for a long time and instead cured in Curing Bags for a few weeks, were much more flavorful and also harder.
Also I had the feeling that by growing organically with BioTabs and a few things from Almicanna, all the plants generally had a very good flavor and flower structure.
@DeadJoke, thank's mate ๐๐ผ
Yes, the photos were taken on the last day of the 7th week of flowering. So far I'm really impressed with BioTabs! The plants have developed very well right from the start. The large pots also contribute to this, of course.
