I noticed light marks on the leaves later on. I was using distilled water so I figured maybe it was a iron, sulfur or manganese deficiency, I swapped to drinking water and it seemed to slowly fade away.
This week has been full of explosive growth. I feel every time I look at her she’s bigger, but also I have been trying to keep the sites all level with some LST. I haven’t really noticed a smell yet which I’m surprised.
11/10 I noticed that she started getting light burn so I had to bring up the light a few inches, after that she’s fine. Definitely feel as if I didn’t use LST she would not be as wide stretched and open as she is now. It’s amazing how many bud sites there are!
11/11 So after moving the light up I noticed that didn't change anything, so my assumption is I have nutrient lockout. There are brown spots and in just one day, also the yellowing tips have been getting worse. This whole time I have been using a self watering fabric pot base, but I obviously would top water before her roots could reach that far down. I assume from me top watering then switching to bottom feeding it had made my soil toxic and caused nutrient lock. I flushed her with what ph correct water I had since my tap water is terrible and when I flushed I ph'd the runoff water which was 7.5!!!!! Yikes.....
11/13 She seems to be doing way better after a little flush. There is a bit of leaf damage, but that's okay I'm more focused on getting more weight rather than looks.
11/14 My humidifier ended up taking a crap on me so now my environment is a little wacky but that doesn’t stop anything!!
I haven’t been really keeping up with her as much as I should since holidays were around. I haven’t been raising my light as I should which didn’t do a whole lot. It definitely lightened her up but that also could be from it being in flower. Everything’s been going very good I couldn’t ask for a better grow!!
11/24 I was checking the bottom of the pot looking at the roots and I accidentally hit one of the colas off the light and it almost broke it off. Thankfully it didn’t that’s why I have that random tie connected to my tent pole.
11/27 the main colas fan leaves are really starting to fade which worries me a bit since it seems a bit too soon, but oh well we are going to ride it out. There is not much I can do at this point without making it a harsh smoke.
11/5 She's getting very bulky now and starting to smell super strong. Smells super skunky with a hint of pepper. I do know the next grow I do I am 100% getting an air purifier because the amount of cat hair I have had on her is eye opening lol.
11/8 I closely looked at the trichomes and they seem to start turning milky so I went ahead and started the flush. I’m a bit nervous I flushed too early only because some of the pistils aren't orange. It's not a good idea to judge an auto based off trichomes for harvest from what I have heard, but most of them are either milky or they're starting to turn amber.
11/10 A huge color difference in a day mainly because I accidently let it get up to 80 degrees in my tent and you can tell she does not like the heat at all.
11/13 God damn what a beautiful plant. I’m so happy with this grow so far, she has been so easy on me especially all the stress I put her through. I’m thinking I’m cutting her down 5-6 days I’m going to starve her for the last 2 days to make sure I have a smooth drying process. It just amazes me too because I actually light fed her so I imagine if she got just a little more phosphorus she would’ve filled in way more, but none the less I am still very happy with the outcome. I appreciate everyone following along with my grow and all the support it’s much appreciated <3
11/16 everything is going great! I went through and pulled all of the dead leafs off to prevent mold. She smells super sweet almost like a candy or butter sweet it’s odd but I’m not complaining!!! Very excited to try it!
