I dealt with some algae issue than got that under control but getting black buckets instead of white ones cause the light leaks were causing the issue. Than after that was fixed I started getting this brown stuff all over the roots and bucket. I decided I too put her in a root farm medium and see if she comes back around. Wish me luck!
She is looking very healthy and her fan leaves are absolutely massive for a plant this size. I topped/fimmed her last night but now I'm starting to think that might have been a bad idea. She is already widder than she is taller. I started giving her nutrients this week.
I am wondering if I should trim some of these giant fan leaves for if it's to early. I did just top her last night, should I wait till she gets taller? I'm worries she is too short.
I would wait on trimming for now , there's a few different reason's as to why I would wait . The main one being the stress factor on your plan topping it alone induces a great amount of stress to the plant . So to do that in combination with trimming at this very time would be a bad idea it may even stunt the growth of your beautiful young lady ! So my main advice to you would be to wait it out a few extra weeks ensure that were you topped has healed nice and proper before going ahead with the trimming . This way it will encourage your plant to spread its energy to the internodes that have developed so you can get more tops going. Once this has established itself and you can then take away some of the big big fan leaves that are sucking up energy and blocking the lights for nothing . All in all your ladies are doing really really well and I hope this has helped you on your quest to becoming a grow master ! -Happy Growing!
Had to get a heater for my grow tent as it has started to get colder here. I removed some of the extra large fan leaves since it's been a week since I topped her . The topping seems to be a success as two new branches have started to grow.
She is growing fast! grew 4" taller these week. Removed a few more of the large fan leaves and all the little ones from the bottom. Added some UC Roots this week for the first time.
Did some more defoliation this week to get her ready for flower soon. She is still.showinf some signs of nutrition burn but I think I have it under control now. I may keep this girl as a mother.
This girl is growing very strong so happy with how she has grown. I should have switch her to flower by now but I'm thinking on getting another grow tent for vegetation so I can keep her as a mother. I took four clones off her so lets see how she bounces back.
The mother plant is doing great, she recovered nicely from the defoliation and cloning. I took 4" off the top to keep her from getting to tall.
The four clones I tooked all rooted nicely and have been transplanted. I plan on bringing at least of these clones to flower.
Well I was away on vacation for a while and I decided that I would flower my mother since all four of the clones are doing well. That is not much I can say about this plant other than no matter what I do she continues top grow strong. I will be flipping the light to 12/12 starting next week when my trellis net comes in.
She took well to the Scrogging and is the plant in the back right corner. Her buds are the largest of the three plants. not much of a smell yet but it's only the second week of flower.
The mother plant I decided to flower has the most dense buds out of the three strains in the Scrog net. the smell is amazing and string. The buds are getting very frosty and super sticky. It did turn out to be the shortest of the three so I think I will end up with lots of popcorn buds.
The buds smell so strong as soon as I open the tent the hole house fills with the smell of fresh buds. I started the at the end of this week. I plan on harvesting in 2 weeks.
Let's plant went through a lot of learning curves originally it was going to be a mother and decided to flower her keep some of the clones a little bit of problems with spider mites but other than that I will know it was a good grow. the buds were nice and dense had a great smell and flavor.
Overall this is a very stable easy to grow resistance training. I did end up keeping one clone as a mother and I've taken several phones off already. This is a great strain for beginners as I can take just about any mistakes you throw at it. I'm going to try and grow some of this outside to see if I can get better yields although the buds dense the yield was low
