Birthday Runtz

Finally transferred the girls from solo cups into 3 gallons smart pots. # 1 is showing deficiency due to being in solo cups longer than the rest. PH off due to spring water which I no longer use. I only use for germination process. First thought was turning #1 into Mother plant so I can run it back … but made decision to throw em all in there. Go from seed to harvest and buy something new after I grow all my Elev8 seeds.

Update this is the 5th week in veg. I had trim everything from below and want to keep top of the canopy last week as well topped the 2nd time. The 6 main colas goes to 12 and after the 2nd topped now 24 main colas(I didn’t do the side branches)… I am going to let it veg out until week 6 or 8 depemdinf on the bounce back.

I thought I wasn’t going to use the net trellis but it is a must and it help me eliminate everything below. Some may say I cut off a lot of yield but I’m okay leaving out the pop corn buds and just keep the top colas or those that praying to the light

Today will be 4th weak in flower. Using Lotus Nutrients and will add big buds as well buds candy. I will trim starting from the bottom net trellis any fan leave touches I’m removing it. So energy can go to the top buds site.

On week 5 in flower. I messed up with one of the plant . I found out due to the run off water ppm was high 2000 + as well maybe hot in the soil PH is off. So I am thinking nutrient lockout and wasn’t watering PH in between feeding to balance it out or flush out to level down the ppm before flipping yellow. Honestly think it due to me cutting too many leaves off and reacted yellow and just folded . So I am learning to leave it alone now as you can see I haven’t touch any more fan leave I will tuck and under .

On week 6 flower . PH water 6.2 . Keeping it low due to high ppm within soil so learned after seeing one plant turning all yellow and due to the aftermath cutting on it. Was just to much so I now sit back and let them do their thing. When they almost close to dry I water and seem to strive long without being over fed.

End of 6 week. Now on 7th week Today. Counting 2 more week then will be cutting down for harvest. Before doing so will allow the Birthday Runtz go flush for 1 week plus 2 days darkness before chopping it down for final. Excited to see how this strain turn out. It is heavy on some of the branches which force me to put up a 2nd net trellis for support. I want the plants to get all the light. Remember no cutting the can leaf unless they be like I want to go bye bye cut me. Then I’ll cut em. :)

Beginning of 8th week and flushing until next Monday for the chop down. Saturday and Sunday will be in darkness . Will unplug the light let the cold set in 65-68 it be at night time. Hang dry for 10-12 days. Will keep you guys updated.

It has been 2 weeks curing in Mason Jars. I did a pre smoke test with Vibez and man got me high fosho . Did caught myself dosing off to sleep on my momma couch lol. Took 2 stars off due to the seeds which I don’t mind. I had a similar experience with Quarantine Buddy. Not sure if it the genertic but be feeling like it on my ends . I’m always learning something new in every grow I did previously before documenting…so I be switching pheno & auto to prevent seeds in buds. Or male in general. Smoke 5 star, taste is there waiting on finish product… it is spicy ,sweet and little earthy 🔥 saving seeds may be more once I break em down to roll up. Will pop in future when I’m feeling adventurous
