The seed was placed in a ph'd glass of water for 48 hours and then transferred to it's rockwool cube, and then place in the grow tent under with a humidity dome under the lights at 40% at their full height.
Not much to report this week, she has only grown a little bit but that is to be expected, I am hoping that were getting to see the growth start here within the next 14 days!
So I ran into some issues this week, all mainly self-caused and I'm hoping I caught it early enough for it to not become a bigger issue. I definitely think that I'm dealing with some root rot issues due to the high water temps that I have been dealing with ( 2 of my 3 girls are affected by root rot). So I have gone back to my old method of placing their 5-gallon buckets into larger tubs that I have filled with cooler with around 66 degrees and this normally have help me deal with this issue in the past.
So yeah the root rot definetly stressed her out a bit a likely cause the early signs of flower but she seems to have bounced back pretty well and is doing a lot better now! Started doing some LST this week!
Yes she has for sure bounced back and she is growing on pace with her tentmate who did not get affected by root rot so I think the extra tub did the job again! I'm thinking we'll see the stretch start here pretty soon!
Not any real issues this week, I still want to dial in my environment significantly but that will have to be a project for the new year. This week I continued with doing some LST and did some defoliation to allow more light and more airflow to the bud sites that are starting to show.
Well ended up being quite busy over Christmas and New Year's so only really had time to peek my head in and do my readings and feed the girls. So sorry for the missed weeks but she's looking pretty good!
Well this week I ran into some issues and I thought it had only affected one of my plants when I had not been able to give them new water for a couple of days and one of the girls clearly was suffering under the drought but I thought it only that one that had been affected but I do believe that this girls also ran out of water completely and I might see that over the next week as she recovers.
Okay, we're finally starting to see some real bud development on this girl! She has pretty nice bud formations and I like her internode spacing being quite tight. The only worry with this girl is that she seen significantly less trichome development compared to the other girls in the tent and the same goes for her smell which is still really quite weak in comparison to her tentmates.
This cultivar grew nicely and ended up being a nice and pretty plant so I was for sure happy with it!
The reason for the star reductions being, the smell being too weak through flower and even 2 weeks into the cure (The smell btw is nice quite sweet, and nutty.)
The bud were also the smallest of the whole grow but they were really nice and dense just quite small. I think I could have let her go for another week maybe two but I had to take all the plants down at the same time so someone had to suffer and the rest were ready.
Cut down and dried at 60/60 for 8 days, then been curing for 2 weeks now. Generally enjoyed growing this cultivar from 00Seeds, but I probs wouldn't put it on my recommendation list.
@JeyGanesha, Yes thank you! I is some pretty good flower, really tasty. I should have let her go another week or two before harvesting but the whole tent had to come down at the same time. Would probably change my rating from 6/10 to 7/10 after she now has cured a bit more, really enjoy her nutty flavor!
