Ive ran candy master star dawg and clover shake once before and they were phenomenal!!!!
Koffee is a strain that i have had my eye on for almost 3 years. Originally bred by Pacific Northwest Roots, then Green Source Gardens bred Koffee to an F8. I managed to get some before they were gone again. They also came with freebies - GMOB-. Both of these varieties are said to excellent for hash making.
Less then a week in flower and they are showing sex. Clover shake #1 currently in flower has not yet shown sex and the #3 is still a little young to throw into flower. Same with the Candy Master Star Dawgs. The males will have their own ac infinity 3'×1.5' grow tent which is perfect for this run.
Just trans planted the candy Master Star Dawgs and the 3rd clover shake, so in a couple weeks ill put them in the flower tent. Clover shake #2 still hasnt shown sex....im assuming it will be female considering all the males have shown sex within the first week.
The Koffee males
#1 was abnormal from the start and is the smallest of the 3 so i cut it down.
#2 is tall and strong with lots of dumpy sacks. I like the structure of this one.
#3 is medium height, dumpy sacks, and showing off his Purple Majesty. Hes got some color showing on the sacks. I really like that.
Koffee F8 by Green Source Gardens was an open pollination generation to preserve the genetic line.
Clover Shake
Male #1 is very tall and thin, Lanky. I am noticing though, that with this particular cultivar, they do tend to take longer to progress into flower over others. So maybe he will show better flower grouping a little later.
#2.....its a girl!!! Finally after three weeks in the flower tent she finally showed sex. Just like i thought, female!
#3 just went into flower so, time will tell
Candy Master Star Dawg
All three just went into flower. Gotta wait.
Pretty cool....i have two males of each cultivar to choose from as well as a female from each. The 3 females will get there own diaries.
Males-
-Koffee F8
#2 is just dumping pollen like crazy. Way more then #3 and has a fatter "Flower" structure
#3 has thinner "Flower" structure but is showing more purple then the #2.
I have plates colleting the pollen the best i can. Ive never grown a male plant past 3 weeks. This is exciting.
-Clover Shake
#1 male is very thin
#3 male is now showing sex and will go into the male tent
-Candy Master Star Dawg
#2 male
#3 male
Both going into the male tent
Collected a shit ton of pollen from the #2 koffee male, filled up a whole 3 gram container. Koffee male #3 produced about half of that. I was going to grow these out fully but i decided not to. Now that i have more than enough pollen from both males, my plan is to hit a couple branches on the koffee female with pollen from both males. Keeping them separated and growing them out to see the difference and then choose from there which seed line i will run with.
Clover Shake #2 male was very lenky and had too much gapage between nodes. Collected 1.5g of pollen, but depending on how the #1 male grows, i dont think ill use the #2 pollen. Or i might do the same as the koffee, use both and see what happens........
Only three remain. Clover Shake #1 and both Candy Master Star Dawg males which are looking really healthy.
I also put moisture beads in with the pollen containers.
This clover shake male is structurally better then the first one. Definitely using this one. The Candy Master Star Dawg males are really healthy. Main difference is obviously the height.
This new grow diary web update is not very good. I cant add dry weight to harvested diaries and i cant pick my nutrients. Kinda lame. Hopefully gets sorted out soon.
These plants are dumping pollen.
Males also have trichomes!
Tough to choose between the two Candy Master Star Dawgs. Might go with the bigger on since it has similar size and structure to the female.
Seriously, check out Bulletproof Genetics. Really good cultivars out of michigan. I heard though that the man, Eddie, behind the magic recently passed away. Not sure what the future of the company will be. Which is why im buying as many as i can before theyre gone. My current collection of Bulletproof genetics seeds include:
Candy Master Star Dawg
Candy Punch
Clover Shake
Ice Cream Social
Ice Cream Facial
Bulletproof Dragon
Deep Breath S1
Puppy Chow 2.0
Dem Apples
Cherrywanna
Good Shit!!!
Cant wait to start breeding with bulletproof genetics and making thoouuusands of seeds. The plan is to never have to buy seeds again, as well as, creating my own strain of cannabis. This is how it starts, with a little pollen chucking. Then start working the line and breeding.
Pacific Northwest Roots originally bred this strain to an F3, the Green Source Gardens now took it to F10, but this is the F8. An open pollination to preserve the genetics. I havnt smoked Koffee yet but im sure it will not disappoint. I hear the flower is amazing and shes bred for hash making which is phenomenal.
