Put the seeds in cotton discs with mycorrhiza and 24hr later tap roots grew.
Planted the seeds under a humidity dome and lights, first leaves 48 hours later.
These babies are going fast! As it is my second run of these genetics, I'll be able to do some things better then before.
I will be using mycorrhiza from biotabs and the great white shark.
I added a fourth plant, just to be safe in case one was a misfire. I'll be giving it to a friend for in his veg room if all goes well.
Everything is going smoothly. Added some dry nutrients and they react very well. Rapid growth is setting in I started LST.
Smell starting to come too, so good❤️
Growth is exploding! Very good and healthy leaves. Some curling and a little discolouration of lower leaves, but nothing I worry about too much.
They responded very well to the LST. Gave them some compost tea and some added nutrients. Might add some more just to get a little more out of the veg state. End of the week I'll start adding the flower fertilizer.
This journal is two days later so the photos are two days older also.
I trimmed the plants, mostly small branches and biiig fan leaves.
First signs of flower are appearing so I added Green House flowering dry amendments. 10-11 grams to each pot, to start it out.
Before the trim I dried the pots out for two days, then refed with a liter of green house bio enhancer. The one plant that is showing calmag deficiency got 4ml/l of biobizz calmag extra.
I put on some LST and raised the lights to 50-55 cm above the canopy.
I think we're set for flowering!
Girls had a stretch and the first started flowering. The second two plants are not showing any signs of flowering whatsoever... I'm a little concerned about what's happening.
Furthermore I took off three big fan leaves that were really in the way of lower bud sights. I hope I have made a solid canopy that can hold some serious bud!
I'll ask a grower question about the flowering.
The flowering plant has a little Nitrogen deficiency. Added a dose of veg nutrients for the Nitrogen, to see if it evens out a little.
Cheers!
Alright, sad news. I have to part with one of the vegging plants... It seems to have stopped growing and the other vegging plant is taking over the space in the tent.
I'm giving the space to the other vegging plant in the hope that it'll still go into flower. I've flipped from 24/0 to 20/4, to help with the flowering. I got it as a tip from the grower question, hope it helps... Otherwise I will have to part with it too, due to lack of room.
It's a sad day when you have to take out a plant. I hope this grow won't be such a bummer. Maybe my lights are defective, I ran my ts1000 for about 12k hours now. Might be time for a new light.
For now, I'll keep hoping these two plants will survive.
Alright, there was something wrong with the second vegging plant. It kept growing very slowly and extending the internodes. Now it got too big and I had to kill it.
I am saddened that I lost 2 out of the 3 plants this run. But I am glad that I still have one plant running! And she is flourishing!
The last plant standing is doing a good job so far flowering. I added a layer of greenhouse biobloom (15 gram) and I will add another layer a little later on.
The plant loves the extra space, you can tell. The leaves are praying to get as much light as possible, I'm giving het 1.5 liter of water a day and the earth is dry after 24 hours. I hope to get some good results from this plant.
Alright, It's been a crazy ride but I made my peace with losing two plants and I am now optimistic about my last lovely lady!
Cheers!
Allright, so another week flew by!
The lower leaves are turning and going, I'm wondering if there can be a deficiency that they're telling me about.
Furthermore steady rolling!
Cheers!
So the last plant standing is doing a good job!
She is going well, added 30 grams of biogrow bloom at the start of the week and finished the week with bioenhancer.
Pickied some old leaves from the skirt.
Well on our way!
Alright, steady rolling this week!
Plain water 5 days, 1 day dry, 1 greenhouse bioenhancer 1g/l+biotabs pk5/6 8ml/l.
After this week I'm cutting the nutrients, only molasses blend one or two more times.
Thick trichome development, no ambers yet.
She is loving the 24/0. They say 24/0 is bad for terpine production but she smells delightful. A little spicy, woody with a touch of red fruit. Very nice.
Cheers!
Another week and she keeps going strong!
Quite all the fertilizer, just plain water from this week forward.
No amber heads yet.
Temp is constant, started 20/4 schedule again
This is the last week of flowering, after this they are going to get the chop!
Everything is smooth sailing, still very little amber trichomes.
Very pungent smell, really looking forward to the final product.
Well, it was a shame I had to cut two down early, but the final plant yielded 100 grams of dry bud. Which, I recond, isn't all that bad for a single plant under a Mars Hydro TS1000.
I regulated my humidity with a dehumidifier, the Qlima D612, which worked like a charm👌
The gorilla cookies have been a pleasure to grow, the delicious, pungent aroma is strong and I look forward to smoking it.
I haven't weighed the fresh flower but I guessed something, the dried flower is exactly 100 gram. I've got about 15 grams of trim, probably going to cook something up with it.
Had a two day dark period before the final cut. Removed the big fan flowers first, then dried in the tent for 8 days, Rh 65%-68%, 16-17 °c. Trim took about an hour, very hasjie scissors. Smells really amazing, sparkles very bright of all the trichomes. Amazing harvest of 100 gram dried buds, put em in 2, 3L glass mason jars. Added some boveda 62's in there. Will burp the jars for 3-4 times in the next 24 hours for about 1 hour. Then 2-3 times for 30 minutes, then just regular burping for 1 week. Then burping every few days until perfect.
It has been a pleasure, looking forward to the finished flowers🙏🥂
Sadly as a beginner i can't help you with the Problems, but i hope you can sort them out, since the plant has a nice size already and that it will finish nicely! All the best man
Thanks for the pointer bro! Alas, it got too big and had to go... Quite sad because of the resources spent so far, but it is what it is. We just keep on growing!
