Use of an easy and cheap aliExpress pump, set to water 1x a day for 8 seconds. Which is about 15cl. The light was set to give about 50% of it's capacity.
The roots started to come out of the bottom of the beginning pot so she has been transplanted to her final pot. First two weeks only plain water.
At the end of the week: the water schedule has been updated to water every other day about half a liter (40s for the pump), her feeding schedule has been started and light intensity has been set to about 70% of it's capacity.
Again seems to be a good week. She has been FIMmed at the end of this week. The light intensity is bumped up to 75%. I expect her to recovery this week from the FIM, so not expectong a lot of growth thus the feeding schedule won't change for now. The lowest leaves had some slight yellow Discolocation, but this isn't happening on the new growth. But this happened before the feeding started so I don't expect any problems from this.
Lights got updated to 80% intesity. Watering pump flows every second day for 50 seconds. The FIMing seems to have worked only partially, and since she seems to be recovered I decided to top her.
A branch broke off by accident, hopefully it will recover in a week or so. But there are a lot of shoots growing very strongly and after some LST and defoliation every important place on the plants get's enough light. Light intensity updated to a 100%
Unfortunately the broken of part has died. But considering I want the leaves to be more on the same height I topped her again to slow down the growth of the main stem. And bending down all branches outwards so that every branch get's some good light. The shape is almost where I want it so in a week or two I'll put her into flower. I actively keep removing leaves that cover other growing sites and bend branches to make give better light penetration.
Just as the past couple of weeks, I'm trying to make to plant branch out towards to edges so that it get's more bushy and even. A lot more bud sites are exposed now, next week I will introduce a trellis net, and then it's time for flower.
This was the last week of veg, I did some defoliation trough the week and I added an DIY scrog net. Every grow site that wasn't exposed to light after the scrog was added net has been removed.
So first week of flower, the bushiness of the plant really increased in this week. As well as the stretch that has started. Nothing special happened, the scrog net seems to be working perfectly as well.
Around half of week 2 in flower I decided to do a heavy defoliation to get better light exposure. And then tucked all branches back under the scrog net to get a nice and even canopy. She recovered really good from the heavy defoliation and I'm planning to do one more probably around week 5.
This week I finally got back to update the watering and feeding schedule as she clearly had nutrient defficiency. The watering was updated to give 2l every other day now.
This is the last defoliation of the grow. Done at the beginning of the week, she recovered bassicly immedeatly and the light penetration was improved significantly.
I made another DIY net to get a little bit more of a spread at the top of the canopy. After the last defoliation a lot of new grow sites got exposed that were getting covered again in the shadow. So this net hopefully helps with that, and the net is also present to support the plant as the buds are really starting to fatten up now.
Plant seems to have completely recovered from the feeding shortage and everything looks perfect at this point I think. She feels very sticky and is looking great and still fattening up a lot.
I thought at the end of this week the harvesting window would start. However there are very little amber trichomes and most of the pistols are still white. So it will take a little longer then expected but the buds keep on fattening up so no complaints.
The buds have been developing well and have become more and more sticky. The first leaves are also starting to yellow and smell of the plant is also very nice at this point. Now at the of this week I started the flush so next week should be harvesting time.
Nice strain, not the easiest to grow. But if you give her enough time she can produce really nice buds. Colour and scent are kind of generic but a nice smoking experience.
Unfortunately because of the dense canopy there were a lot of airy and fluffy popcorn nugs. The highest tops growing above the conapy were of pretty high quality, but I think fimming on such a small area is probably not the best idea. Next grow will be mainlined to maximize yields on the small space without getting the canopy to thick.
