@CRiSPrGrow,no pal pistols are the hairs trichomes are the dildo shaped things on the pistols leafs and all over the bud they start off clear then fill with a cloudy fat ..once filled it will start to turn amber and will cause different effects when you are smoking my two favourites are 75 to 100 percent amber for indica dominants and 75 percent cloudy 25 percent amber for sativa dominants ...every one has their preferences which is great fun messing with theres pics on google with guides to trichome ratios ....the pistols used to be looked at as the standard for when to chop them down but these days pistols are just a little indicator to let you know its time to watch your trichomes

@drkushlife, huh ! i know what you mean about the trykes though, it's fascinating how each strain ripens in its own way really

I do that on porpose but only with what I call one stemmers (sativa looking plants) I remove the leaves so the don't grow and the bud travels up in on main cola seems to get more yeild but I'll state that at the end.. I did miss the boat ever so slightly with removing the leafs so one or two branches shot out it also helps keep them short i believe it's better to put the energy into bud production than into growth i feel I just don't need

I use my s9 i like it alot it helps me see things my eyes wouldn't be able to see on other cams that I had

@Kate420, yeah I liked the diesel notes felt really happy like I wanted to be sociable but then the couch lock effect set in and I was like nah I'll just order a takeaway 😎 Burn great I only do bongs but I do a blunt test and yeah I'd say clean as a whistle

@TheHonestGrower,im not intirely sure i noticed a while a go maybe around week 5 or 6 og kush from rqs turns purple near the end of flowering also

@Astrolavos, finally got to a pc to reply smh ...i wasn't going to grow this until someone pushed it so here we are ...apparently you can throw the kitchen sink at this plant and it will still keep coming so should be a great strain good luck with your acid plant you might be done on my birthday lol
