Seed #1 showed better radicle development compared to seed #2, as expected since the first seed was larger and had a healthier appearance. 11/26/2023 - Sunday: Late night of Sunday, after radicle development, the seeds were planted in soil, LED light turned on and dimmed to 40% at a height of 40 cm (about 7000 LUX). Temperature averaged between 22 and 25ยฐC. --------------------------------------------- 12/06/2023 - Wednesday The 3 seeds were placed in a glass of water and left in a dark place. After about 10 hours, I submerged them. 12/07/2023 - Thursday After 24 hours in the glass, I removed the seeds and placed them in a tupperware with moist paper towels, kept in a dark place. Only 2 out of the 3 seeds started to open, showing their radicles.

Grow Questions

The growth of #2 seems to be slow, I don't know if it's within normal parameters or if it's truly stunted (I'm uncertain because #1 is twice the size). Is it normal for a plant to be this size at day 7?

Yep, completely normal. Some start slower, some flower faster.....all due to individual genetics. All seeds are unique organic beings that will do their own thing.

Are #1's leaves showing burn-like signs? Researched "wind burn," but photos don't match. Any guesses? Maybe excessive heat (hit 32ยฐC some days)? Or low humidity (dropped to 55% when humidifier was off during the dark period)?

Yes it is from the heat but it will recover. Try to keep them cool and turn the lights of during the hottest time of the day instead at night. This way you also keep a more stable climate for the plant.

After installing a more powerful and oscilanting fan, I'm noticing some leaves hanging somewhat downward and in a slight claw-like shape. Could this be related to the wind?

Leaves. Curl down

It would be from the wind, plants also do this when they are Overwatered and Underwaterd Overwatered = Limp leaves, Stiff stems Underwatered = Limp leaves, Limp stems Most of the time you do not want the fan pointing at the plant directly you want it to be moving the air aorund the plant, If there is a setting to lower the intensity on the fan I would enable that, If not point it at the wall just above or below the canopy, the fan will still mix up the air in the tent and move it aorund. If the limpness improves then you know it was from the fan and you need to do this moving forward. One other option is to block some of the intake on the fan, This will lower the total amount of air it is sucking in and thus lower the amount coming out so its not as strong. You can do this by placing tap or some other things on the front or back of the fans case. You want to check in on this as if it gets dislodged it can clog the fan and be a bigger issues like a fire hazard. Its not something I would recommended because of that unless you can confirm it will not dislodge. Good Luck!

Autoflower, day 40. Most leaves are in a yellowish-green tone or even completely yellow. I was mistakenly watering it with tap water, but when I noticed the yellowing, 1 week ago, I started watering with mineral water at pH 6.49.
Solved
Leaves. Color - Yellow

Are these pictures from the bottom? Is it generally stealing the nitrogen from those bottom fan leaves to enable new growth? If itโ€™s green at the top and mostly yellow at the bottom then yeah itโ€™s N. Also I donโ€™t know how old your plant is but donโ€™t forget towards the end they are essentially dying so expect lots of shed leaves anyway and weird colours. If your mid grow and itโ€™s yellow nearer the bottom than top then yes is nitrogen. Itโ€™s a mobile nutrient so it can be moved around the plant to where itโ€™s needed if there isnโ€™t enough. Hopefully this helps mate - iv literally just been through this the past week or so coz I left em over Xmas! Mines returned to normal now. Took a few daysโ€ฆ

Hello my friend! Do not water so close to the young plant. Let the roots search for water and water at least 10 centimeters away from the plant. You want to do this so they develop a healthy root system while still having enough acces to oxygen. Next to that they look good buddy. When questions just send me a private message! ๐Ÿ’š

CornerBudcommenteda year ago
@BerrySweetHigh, I was actually doing this, avoiding to water it directly into the plant roots, I'll try to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Thanks for the advice mate!
