KannaGrowing First week - Germination in Petri dishes on a heated greenhouse, using paper towels and spraying water.
48 hours later, 90% of the seeds germinate and by 72 hours, 100%.
While I wait for them to germinate, I prepare the substrate mix;
· 100L of BioCanna Soil
· 10L of Asturhumus
· 2.5L of Plagron Supermix.
I mix it and use tall pots of 1.4L that I water generously before planting the seeds.
When they germinate, I plant them well labeled and spray water, without watering. This way we avoid unwanted movements of the seeds.
18 hours of light, 6 hours of darkness with nighttime heating, to avoid temperature contrasts. The ballasts adjusted to 250w.
During the week, the cotyledons of all the plants are coming out.

KannaGrowing Second week of cultivation:
This phase of the vegetative period is critical, as the seedlings are very young and you can have some losses if we don't pay attention to all the factors, especially temperature and humidity.
They practically don't need watering; I've only watered once in the whole week using:
Bio Rhizotonic from Canna, 40ml per 10L of water, for the entire table, a total of 80 plants of four varieties in 1.4L pots.
I've also had to put a support (wooden stake), as the stem is very fragile and can't support the weight of the cotyledons and the first true leaves that are starting to come out.

KannaGrowing We're in the third week, and at this stage, we just need to keep an eye on the temperature and humidity parameters. Plus, we need to set up alternative supports so our little ones grow upright.
I use a humidifier during the light hours to maintain humidity throughout the room.
I connect a fan so the plants receive a gentle breeze and strengthen the main stem "stem training."
We can remove the supports later on.
I water once with dechlorinated water throughout the week.
Now the plants are strong enough for us to relax a bit... But let's not forget to check in once or twice a day.

KannaGrowing We are in the fourth week since germination, and as you can see, I’m still watering once a week with about 10 liters for the entire grow, 20 Units x 4 Varieties = 80 plants in 1.4L pots, although I’ve only filled each of them with 1L of substrate.
I alternate watering with demineralized water and watering with Bio Rhizotonic from Canna 40ml x 10L.
This week the plants are starting to cover each other, and the table with two lights has become too small, so it’s time to turn on a third light and move the bigger ones, so that everyone gets enough light.

KannaGrowing During this week, I'm removing the stakes from the tallest ones, which reach 35cm and would be ready to switch to flowering, but since I have quite a few smaller ones at about 20cm in the same room, I decide to prioritize them and let them grow a bit more, as I have enough height to control the stretching.
I'm watering with demineralized water, this time 2 times a week, 10L for 80 pots of 1L, we need the roots to colonize the substrate, as we will soon start with the transplants progressively.
I'm increasing the ballast power to 400w.
We also removed the humidifier, we no longer need so much relative humidity.

KannaGrowing The time has come to transplant: I use 4L fabric pots for better root aeration. I only transplant the largest ones, as they are the ones that have colonized the substrate of the 1L pot; the others will get their turn in the coming weeks.
While I work on the transplants, I take the opportunity to do some low pruning. With this technique, we will give more vigor to the upper part of the plants and make watering easier.
I turn on the fourth light to create space. So now there are 4 lights at 400w in the room, but I continue with the same growth bulbs for a few more weeks to control the stretching.
I water right after transplanting, with water and BioRhizotonic, 1L per pot.
Since we started the grow, we haven't had to add any extra nutrients, as the soil mix is rich enough... Soon we will start incorporating them.

KannaGrowing This week I finished the transplants for one of the entire tables.
I watered the ones that weren't transplanted with a total of 20L of water + Bio Rhizotonic + Bio Vega, so they can hold on until it's their turn to be transplanted.
I also treated the entire crop with Propolix diluted in water and sprayed on the plants just before the lights go out, this way we avoid leaf burns and give them extra protection against different pathogens.
The transplanted ones I only water with water + Bio Rhizotonic.

KannaGrowing This week, I finished all the transplants in the room.
40 plants per table in 4 different varieties + 7 extras that I placed between the tables and haven't transplanted, to see the final behavior in the 1L pot.
I increased the ballast power to 600w, but I’m still using the growth lamps.
I water every three days with 40L of water + Bio Rhizotonic + Bio Vega, alternating between waterings with plain water, which help wash the roots and prevent them from collapsing due to excess nutrients.

KannaGrowing It's time to change the lamps we've been using during the vegetative period, with a more blue light spectrum (between 5000ºK and 6500ºK), for some mixed ones of 2500ºK. Later on, we'll switch to the final ones at 2000ºK. It's important to say that taking photos or videos under flowering lamps doesn't yield good results... So from this moment on, I'm going to use a correction filter on the images I show. I'm still watering every three days, alternating between water + Bio Rhizotonic + Bio Vega and watering only with water. I keep a grow diary in a notebook and the main changes on a chalkboard.

KannaGrowing This week, we cranked up the ballast power to the max, 660w.
I did the second and final low pruning in the entire room, ensuring that the plants concentrate nutrients in the upper part, where they receive more light, and it also makes watering and controlling them easier.
In the alternating waterings between nutrients and water every three days, we eliminated Bio Vega.
I also did a second foliar treatment with Propolix, just before the lights go out.

KannaGrowing This week, the smell is starting to intensify, so we increased the extraction power to create negative pressure, allowing the smell to be filtered outside. Since the temperatures have risen, we can remove the heaters and leave the extraction running 24/7. We also increased the overall ventilation by boosting the power of the three oscillating fans we have in the room. We eliminated Bio Rhizotonic and are only using Bio Flores, as always alternating every three days between nutrients and water. But we increased the ratio to 4ml per liter... That is, 40ml for each 10-liter water bucket, totaling 50 liters used. We use pots to raise the smaller plants so that all of them receive enough light.

KannaGrowing We're entering the final phase of flowering.
We replaced the 2500ºK HM lamps with 2000ºK sodium ones; with these, we'll finish the grow.
The ballasts are still at 6600w of power, but the light is getting warmer. That's why we're still using a correction filter to take photos in the room.
The smell is already quite strong, so be careful with the extraction and ventilation of the room.
To reduce the relative humidity of the air, we're going to connect a dehumidifier; this will help keep the room at 35% humidity.
And we're fertilizing one last time with 4ml of Bio Flores per liter of water. Total used for the entire room is 40L.
From this moment on, we'll only water with water.

CANNA FLUSH

KannaGrowing We're in the last week for two of the four strains, so from this moment on, we're removing Bio Flores. We'll be adding Canna Flush to the watering tank, which will help us wash our roots well, removing leftover salts and nutrients. We're looking for the plants to use up their reserves from the leaves, which we'll gradually see lose their greenness, eliminating chlorophyll, especially the lower ones.
Canna Flush - 20ml for every 10 liters of water.
We're lowering the power of our ballasts to 600w.
Ambos ofrecen porra central y cogollos compactos y resinados.
Para los amantes de esta variedad clásica.
