roxgreen 12/12 switch + 13 days A lot of LST with the wonderful clips, like a scrog, but without net. 👍 Still no pistil (from seeds). The stretch is really strong, i have to fight to maintain the stem as flat as possible. I keep the nutrients EC low and use the basic full spectrum light during the day. (no 390, 660 or 730 NM pucks. It s too early). But, i use the Far Red 730 initiator for 7 minutes after the light off, and the Deep Red 660 for 7 minutes before the light on. I use voltage reduction for the fans. Very quiet setup. No heat issue. Great airflow in and out. The filter is outside in push mode. The sativa domination is starting now. In veg, was mostly indica. EC 1.1 Base water 0.38 FInal EC 1.48. The XS2000 led panel is used at 50% for 680 PPFD. Nutrients feeding : CANNA Coco A & B (NPK 5-3-3 / Ca 6.3 / Mg 2.4 / So2 1.8) - Daily Ata XL - Atami - Stimulator (PK 2-2, enzym, humic, amino acid) with the base nutrient but added only when the tank is close to be empty (1 week capacity). 1ml/l Seaweed - Terra Aquatica - Pre-flowering activator - Foliar only. 1.5 ml/l - x2 spray/week until end of stretch I never work with quantity ml/l for the base nutrient. I prefer EC/PPM probe and my feeling :) Note that the UVA & Far Red are used in this session for morphology control only, and overall better quality with uva to the final product. I don't expect any gain (yield, thc %). The science today bring some solid conclusions after many trials. The Deep Red 660 complete the Far Red if i want even more elongation during veg(but no need), and complete the daily spectrum in flowering advanced stage without cons. I have less constraint with this mini box (footprint, heat, air flow, noise, inertia, hygro... than my previous grows in bigger tents. The only tricky part is the sativa dominant stretch in a propagation (modified) box. But i m sure it is manageable.

roxgreen The Pistils are here. Only 2 plants of 3 has been selected as it was intended. EC 1.2 in = EC out. (+ 0.40 water base) = EC 1.6 50% canna coco A+B 50% NovaMax Bloom The Red Flower 660 puck is running 12 hours per day. Very powerfull device ! love it. The Pots has been changed for larger ones. The Far Red 730 puck is not used anymore at the end of the day. I note that it had no effect of promoting the transition quicker and the cons was an elongation of the stems, nothing else. I learned a lot of things during this 1st try with these addons : - Because we don't need too much nodes during the veg, the far red 730 is usefull to elongate the stems and fill the area without adding extra week of veg. It works for shaping with LST and the 730 wavelenght is a serious option for a scrog. You can save some weeks of veg. - The Red flower 660 is very potent, excellent to enhance the full spectrum of the quantum board. I really like it. The plants needs 4 weeks to be mature. I only gave them 2 weeks of veg. It delays the first pistils even after the 12/12 switch, more with sativa pheno. Never use the far red during the stretch and be aware that the 660 red puck can promote elongation too. The next run, i will try to use the UVA during the second phase of the stretch, to get the nodes closer as possible. but only for the last 10 or 15 days of pre-flowering, not more. I think the best options are to use the Far Red 730 in veg to promote elongation, UVA 390 during the stretch, and the Red 660 in flowering. The last 2 or 3 weeks, after the bud are complete, the Uva would be used for terpenes, pigments and overall quality boost. Nothing to do with cannabinoids %. The irrigation was under pressure with indesirable splash effect. I added a 5 bucks anti water-back valve just after the pump and it solved the problem. If you plan to use the floraflex system, especially the FloraClip/FloraCap, be aware that you need a powerfull pump. Below 2000 l/h, the flowrate is too low to cover the surface of the FloraCap. More the 6mm tubes are long (x8 tubes max per flow bubbler), more the pressure drops, then a reduced flowrate occurs. Mine are 30 cms long. My pump delivers 2000 l/h with 2.4 meters Pumping head H-max (specification). If you can, choose a 3000 l/h or a pump with a higher pressure H-max. The pressure is way more important than the flow rate. (in computer water cooling, there are pumps that delivers 500 l/h but 5 meters Hmax !!, but no compliant for our use because they are not immersive). Also, use a large diameter 19/25 mm tube for the main irrigation. That 's said, i don't have any problem with this system, all works nice. I just notice i m at the strict minimum requirement. I have rebuilt my irrigation because my tubes was too long and i got a pressure drop and encounter some issues with flowrate.

roxgreen New grow tent DP90 (90x60x98 cms) New 4000K projector 20w Philips Ledinaire (2400 lm, 120 lm/W, Symmetrical wide beam 110° x 110°). Got it for free from my workshop. Used to complete the PPFD on both sides. Pros : Very bright and great to penetrate the canopy. Small wattage. Cons : They are hot and need an active cooler. (note: all the leds works. if you see some led off, it's due to the photo sensor with this type of floodlight) Feeding: Terra aquatica NovaMax Bloom NPK 4-8-7 (just enought. No need of PK booster) ATA XL stimulator (only the last 2 days of the week when the tank is close to be empty) Irrigation x4 per day. EC 1.4 in - EC 1.2 out - PH 6.0 The run to waste is perfect. Zero salt accumulation and the plants are eating very well. LEDs: PPFD 700-800 on both sides, 950 in the middle, 1350 at the highest point. No heat issue. I got a Vapor Pressure Drop issue with Calcium/Boron deficiency on some leaves. But the flowering and overall grow has not been stunted. I fix it by increasing the moisture to 47-50%. Note that is a test session, to see how it performs with the pucks addons/wavelenght in a small area. The next run will be different by experimenting far red in veg, uva during the stretch, and far red and uva at late stage. I will do the things by following the Dr. Bruce Bugbee's notes, with more elongation to fill the area in veg for a "candella/lolipop" style without adding any extra veg week, UVA during the stretch to have smaller inter-nodes distance, and the last 3 or 4 weeks all the stuff to promote the pigments and terpenes, and only Red flower during the budding phase, and late phase of course..

roxgreen Still budding... EC 1.45 : Novamax Bloom NPK 4-8-7 EC 1.0 Canna PK 13/14 EC 0.3 CalMag EC 0.15 + oligo elements ATA XL stimulator Total EC 1.45 + Base water EC 0.40 = Final EC 1.85 Drain off final EC is 1.50. that means there is no salt accumulation and the plant are eating very well. PH 6.0 x5 irrigation per day I suspect a Nitrogen toxicity due to NovaMax bloom the last 2 weeks. I have flushed the coco 1 day + 1 Night to bring back the run off to Final EC 0.75, and i start to feed from scratch with a better ratio by lowering the N and increasing the PK. That is why i love coco. No overwatering issue, and a total control of the nutrients with quick results. Since, Nitrogen is not a problem anymore. Healthy root zone No problem with heat, VPD is ok at 50-52%. Same wavelenght Full spectrum ViparSpectra XS2000 at 50% + Red 660 puck 10w very bright. LEDs: PPFD 700-800 on both sides, 950 in the middle, 1350 at the highest point. Good overall budding phase. The 4000K projectors on the side gives good result, and the RapidLed puck 660 is a must have. i recommend.
