Germinated 6 seeds, all cracked after soaking for 12 hours in water, 5/6 sprouted after a couple of days in soil. Video shows the humidifier I am using in the room.
Letting them bush out some more, cleaned up some of the lower stuff and tucking leaves for more exposure. Not sure if I want to top the four mains on each, think I'll let them go for another week or two and flip.
Start of week 8. Adding blackstrap with the weekly tea. The plant in the right box is flowering nicely, plant in left box is the slowest.
Day 14 flower 12/28/23
Had some issues with unseasonable Christmas warmth and fog, around 65%. Ran the dehumidifier and exhaust down to 45%, temp went up, vpd over 2. Room is staying right around 50% and 76F.
Day 21, doing some thinning. The little runt pheno in the front looks like it was barely touched from the top. I'm going to have to wait a couple days for the weekend so I can get the rest.
The largest plant in the right container budded first, buds grew much faster, now has some yellowing, looks hungry. Going to top dress with worm castings and guano this week.
Added rock phosphate to soil
Cold snap past few days and my furnace is struggling to keep up, day temps around 75 F night 65
Video is overexposed, shows size difference between a 5 gal fiber pot and 10 gal SIP. 2/3 of the fiber pots did not stretch well, can see the one that did stretch in the back hiding.
Swelling and getting plump
Getting very stinky , wife upset her coworker could smell it on her jacket. I'm using a new AC Infinity refillable carbon filter, I don't think it's large enough for the room. Going to get another big Phresh filter, that seemed to work better.
Trichomes look done, put a fork in it. The smaller plants, pheno 3 and 4, may need a little longer, but I am chopping on day 72 of flower, 112 days since they sprouted.
I will be back in a couple of weeks after they dry for weights on each plant

10 gallon SIPs vs 5 gallon fiber pots more than doubled yield. About a half ounce short of a pound. Found a few nanners on pheno 5's lower growth, lightly seeded on 5. Don't mind free seeds, it's like a refund for what I paid!
Pheno 1 turned out to be the densest bud with the most trichome coverage, have a couple cuttings in the cloner now.
The drying period left all plants in excellent condition for the cure. Mini hygrometers in jars show 60 to 62% rH.
All buds I sampled had a very smooth smoke that tasted like the bud smells, strong fuel and pine flavors. Can't wait to see how the taste develops after it cures.
Great buds, sticky and stinky, would grow this again.

@Budz_Bunny, Thanks Budz, maybe there is a market for trichome art prints, haha. I use a cheap handheld wireless microscope I found on Amazon that looks like this: https://ttakmly.com/product/wireless-digital-wifi-usb-microscope-endoscope-inspection-camera There are many very similar options on Amazon. @Dabking, thanks it has good potency and flavor. It reminds me of gorilla glue, some of the phenos have a strong lemon smell and flavor, a couple smell like gas and are a bit more potent.
Thats a mighty big light for a 1st go.
To get your moneys worth watt wise. Id stick in at least another 3-4 in there.
Have the SE5000 and I easily did 11 autos and fems.

@gottagrowsometime, I've been using a HLG 550 R for the past few years, this is my 1st diary on here. I like the bigger bars, seems to cover much better than the board. I'm stuck with a 5 plant limit in my state, usually make the plants into little bushes, it turns into a jungle in the tent. Thanks for the comment, more to come!
