Seeds popped successfully (x2). Sprouts looking healthy. Will transplant out of solo cups tomorrow into 5 gallon bags of coco-perlite mix.
Amended soil with buildasoil and worm castings, mostly. Two steps to blend coco-perlite mix into half filled grow bag then mix amendments Then repeated for second half for more even distribution.
Pots in tent under lights to raise temperature ready for transplant out of solo cups into the 5 gallon fabric pots.
Promise to myself: This grow I am going to be obsessed with VPD to develop that discipline further as a foundation for building knowledge. Then I will explore ways to automate the watering process. Now, the humidifier and heater are dialed into mars hydro app and AC Infinity sensors to keep that VPD mid-range.
Topped to develop spread and control height.
Cleared low level leaves and budsites.
Added more sticky fly traps as I have some fruit flies ... too many fruit food flies.
Tucking larger leaves below future budsites.
Low maintenance
Just keeping them watered with the VPD in check at lower temps, as I don't want to burn too much electric heating the tent in the basement.
Frost is developing nicely
Trying out a late bloom booster to fatten up the buds. First time using it, so we will see how it goes.
Pushing the ppfd to 1190.
Set up the dehumidifier to exit water outside of the tent to push the VPD up and for less work emptying the humidifier on the daily.
Low maintenance, otherwise.
A little top dressing of worm castings and bloom fertilizer.
Got the RH dialed in with a new dehumidifier.
Bumped up the VPD
Frost under development
The Overdrive nute is fattening up these buds a little, but it can't make up for the overall flaws in the grow.
Still frosting up nicely and can go a bit longer before harvest.
Happy 4/20!
Easy to grow. Grew in cold conditions over the winter in the basement. So, it was a slow grow which limited the size. Plant was quite small. That's down to the colder tent over the winter, as I didn't crank up the heat.
Terps are gassy, sweet with linalool and b- caryophyllene and hint of tropical fruit and lemon.
Chewing on the scissor hash just now.
Will likely have just over 3.5-4 oz dry of nice buds. Will add the total later.
