This will be the first auto I've done that I'm going to spend a little more time on as I'm good with photoperiod plants but just learning the ways of the auto. I got a free seed of blue dream'matic a few months ago and I just grew it in my veg tent giving it very little attention in 7litres of Coco and it still produced over 60grams of really delightful smoke. This plant has a bigger pot and is gonna have a lot more attention so I'm hoping for something special here. Any guidance and/or help will be gratefully received as I'm really keen to do well with these. Here's hoping I can make this lady sing. 😁
Early entry this week she's looking great and loving the led lighting. I will wait a full week before I update as I only started the journal a few days ago but we are into the next week. Is it possible to edit a week or to add photos to a previous week?

She's growing nicely I can tell she's gonna be a hungry girl, already she's digesting her cotyledons so need to feed her gently building as we go. Taking care not to burn her will be the only difficulty but I'm sure as she grows she will consume more goodies exponentially. Will start to dial back the roots excelurator over the next two weeks and I won't be adding any more orca after tomorrow. As the nutrient levels rise they make it more difficult for the micro life to thrive but they've usually done their job by getting the roots off to the best start so I see no point in running it for any longer than required. The results speak for themselves in most cases but I'm going to be dialling up the nutrients early for this one I hope the fungi have had time to take hold by the time I start killing them off. If anyone has experience with this girl any tips would be great as I want to get the best possible results from this awesome strain.

When to top an auto? I've heard after the 5th node is best but I'd like to hear what everyone thinks/does. This lady will be getting topped it's just a matter of when.

Hello ! The 5th node is the best to me too (between 5th and 7th) but some hardcore main liners are toping them after the 3rd node ( sometimes after the second but I would never do so) to build a flat cannopy. Why not try a supercroping ? it would have a similar effect and you will stress her less than with a topping. I hope it will help you 😁👍
She seems to be getting ready to burst into action not much upward growth just getting fatter!! I'm not gonna top it I'm just gonna bend stems/supercrop and get a bit leaf tucking on the go too. This is when it starts to get interesting. Happy days
Wow!! I've been away for a few days so I got home and the beasting out has finally begun. I decided to defoliate and supercrop because she is so solid and strong as any plant I've ever seen so I have given her as much heavy punishment as possible.
So happy with this girl. She's slower than advertised but I don't really care, if this lady continues to manifest her powers at this rate I'm gonna be buzzing at maximum levels. Can't wait ✌️✌️✌️
@Skuba,cheers dude. I thought she'd be a bit further along by now but she's so strong and fat she can take as long as she wants. I've been really mean to her by evil lst, nasty supercropping and dodgy defoliation. All the things that autos aren't meant to be doing has been done to this stocky solid lady(apart from topping). She just laughs and says "is that all you got!?" 😂✌️✌️
Hey thanks I have high hopes for this pretty young lady. Gonna update tonight. I haven't topped her although I was really considering it I'm just gonna bend and supercrop the stem and tuck some leaves in. Being new to growing the autos I'm just winging it really but I know I've got top drawer genetics so all credit should go to fastbuds for having awesome strains. More tasty madness to come very soon. ✌️✌️
The blue dream'matic was under a 300w vipar spectra with 4 other plants that were vegging at the time so she never had the full light to herself. I've got more light for this new one so I'll update once I settle on how many and which to use.
