December and January was crazy, and a lot of days I didn't had time or energy to feed properly (my knee hurts a lot)... I thought I was using the correct PH but after testing with a new and better Ph meter I've discovered I was watering with a PH around 8... And mites came to attack heavily in that moment :(
Plants got blocked and only 1 OZ Kush survived out of 6-7 I had which is an amazing male with a very strong aroma. I've been able to seen very little, but I loved what I've seen. So, I got 1 pack of Real Runtz from Dying Breed in Spannabis last week which will be posted in another diary.
Few gelatos also died and few ones are already in the flower tent. My purpose with those gelatos is getting complex terpenes and increase a bit the CBD. First, I will select few plants with those terpenes I'm looking for. If I find something interesting, then I will breed it with a CBD carrier depending on the test results, that's because Gelato Kalijah already has high CBD levels as Kalijah is the CBD carrier. If lab test results doesn't show enough THC:CBD ratio, then I will be forced to breed it with Kalijah. I suspect the result could be something like: (Gelato Kalijah x Kalijah) or ((Gelato Mac x Kalijah) x Kalijah). That's why I'm setting terpenes as main priority in the F1 generation, I don't want to make a BX if I can avoid it.
The OZ Kush male with very kush expression will be used for breeding with a MAC2 from Capulator that I will be selecting in another diary. Male best properties are resistance and very strong earthy-sweet aroma. MAC2 are still young, but they rooting is amazing creating strong plants in few weeks. If I can mix that kushy aromas from both with the strong root system of the mother and the resistance of the father would be amazing. Then I would make an F2 or F3 to see what I would like to improve later.
I'm learning a lot and improving with this run. This is the good side of having trouble :)
